Here's something I made by scribling the mouse and turning the scribble into a viking boat. the top is the original scribble the bottom is after i had too much fun photoshoping

Big News

My friend and I are doing serious planning for our own website. we found a site that, even though you have to be deemed worthy by the site owners you get your own URL and you get to design the website.
We have a huge cast of characters planned and already a good deal of comics sketched out. I don't want to tell you all too much because... well you know why.
I'm going to be posting promo's on The Otaku and deviant art and eventually I'll put the link on here.

I'm really pumped to do this.

(this is not an anime-aization, she actually has pink hair. she will kill you if you compare her to Sakura from Naruto)
also we're both gonna be drawing it so this should be interesting with our different styles. though I think we have the same skill level. so i don't have to teach her how to draw lol.

Guess who went to Build-a-Bear!

His name is Sir Owlsalot, He's an ace attorney by day and a superowl at night. he kicks ass!

OMFG best shop ever~

take your time in noticing all the awesome in these pictures. these were only the desplay cases. on the walls they had plushies, phone charms, key chains and model swords! they had ichigo's bankai, sepheroth's sword, the master sword, a gun-blade you name it! I haven't geeked out about anime that much in years.
I got two Soul eater key chains and phone charms and on Bullet Bill phone charm.

best part is
my dad might take me back this evening.

Dragon Quest IX: a review

So I got Dragon Quest IX yesterday. I'd never played any of the previous Dragon Quest games but I'd heard of them, mainly because the same person who did Dragon Ball Z designed the characters. Basically what happened was I realized all I had that was good for my DS was Phoenix Wright and Mario Kart. When I'm on a long trip my brain wont function enough for Phoenix wright and mario kart gets boring after a while. I said to myself "I need a new game...I really like RPGs especially the ones where you can design your characters". So I went to game stop and bought, at the recommendation of the staff, the New Dragon quest.
40 bucks well spent.
I started playing and so far I'm very impressed and pleased. The cutscene right after the opening part of the game just blew my mind. the fighting is fun, the characters are cute, the clothing is nifty. Its a great game. My only problem is with the navi like character that sticks with you.i don't know why she annoys me so much. she's supposed to be cute and Spunky I suppose but she just gets on my nerves. other then that i do giggle every time she says "flapping" or "what the flap" as a cuss. Also, I'm the type of gamer who loves games where you can completely customize a character down to their facial features. In oblivion I have tons of saves just from me making new characters. Now Dragon Quest only allows you one save file BUT you can create new characters at any time! Create them to be your party members (very reminiscent of Final Fantasy 1). this made me a very happy camper.

Its a very cute little game, with punny monsters and such. I really recommend it if you're into RPGs
