I was torn between putting this in my "rants" world because I might rant a bit.
I LOVE The show Avatar the last Airbender, it had amazing animation, cute characters and character development. It also had heart that's not seen much in cartoons anymore, you can see the effort that was put into it.
M. Night Shyamalan did not match it at all
I've always thought that when directors write movies it fails miserably, TLA is no exception. The actors didn't know how to act, they're robotic acting was enough to rival Keanu Reeves. The pronunciation made me question whether or not M. Night even WATCHED the show. Aang should not rhyme with "gong", Sokka should not sound similar to "soda".
The movie was rushed and didn't have a start, middle, end but a start, CONFUSION, end. I have no idea what happened and the horrible scriptwriting just left a bad taste in my mouth.
PS: NONE OF THE ACTORS MATCHED THEIR PART!!!
