I ate almost nothing yesterday. Felt sick in the morning, a migraine, stiff neck, the whole nine yards. Had to work several hours longer than normal, so that didn't help. I managed to pull the day out of the crapper though, by rediscovering a favorite Saiyuki fanfic of mine from back in the day. Funny I say it was a 'favorite' seeing as I'd only read the first chapter until now. The brain likes to latch on to certain aspects, I guess.

For complete whacky-zany logic leaps and the ultimate utilization of anime sweatdrops (apparently, they make excellent throwing stars), read Cyh Scaevola's The Irony Gods. Even non-Saiyuki fans can love her writing, so don't be afraid to check it out. The chapters start out short, so you'll get a feel for it pretty quick. This is one of the stories where the OC is actually original. Humor, humor. Don't miss it.
