I humbly apologize for my prolonged absence. m(_ _)m

Yes, we enjoyed ourselves. Enormously. I see Shika and me living there by Spring 2010. And I'm not joking. Even if just for a few years, we'll go. The couple we stayed with even got us a walk-through of an apartment not but 50 yards from their home. It always has open rooms, so the likelihood of securing one down the road (seeing as we shook hands with the rather attractive young owner this trip who appeared to like us good enough) is rather high.
I've had another bout with my Dr. Horrible addiction lately, so that post about the Death Note parody was ill-timed. More fuel for the fire.
Our friends from Estes Park, CO will be leaving tomorrow. Two weeks have passed with them staying here, and it shows. The father owns a small handyman business (slogan: It takes a Stud to build a house.) and he came to help remodel our bathrooms. Now two of our three are in operation! Yay! XP
The wife is a Domestic Goddess and has done nothing but cook amazing yumminess for us the whole while. Did I mention they also helped buy us a KA deep freeze? That thing is the sweetness. Why are they doing these things? They want us to sell our place and move to Estes. They're also just wonderful people whose son is into the exact same nerdiness as my brother, and did I mention they both have the same first name? o.O
We're starting back into our netflix queue again. FINALLY. I've had Wallflower disc 3 for 3 months.
Picked up Avatar Books 2&3 with Shika's 40% off employee's day at Border's. Grabbed some more Tsubasa and POT volumes too. It's awesome having an inside girl. Rackin' frad. =D
The piano piece I mentioned working on a while back, "Yin no Piano" from Darker than Black is coming along nicely. The triplet/sixteen passage is still an insurmountable obstacle, but things change with time and perseverance.
My brother is currently nerding out with some friends playing the Game of Thrones card game. Go at it, little people.
I'm currently chewing on Shika's Japanese Curry she just made. Tasty. So are her futamaki (California rolls) with shrimp and cucumber. Nummy.
We finally decided to tackle Mario Kart Double Dash again since the memory card corrupted a while back. I love that game. *nostalgia*
Lots of rambling. I guess that's what happens when you haven't updated in 2 months. XP
