So, due to a rather sudden development involving my not being able to walk for the majority of today, Shika, mummy-poo and I devoured the first half of the Ouran dub this morning. I found it delightful. I'd already watched these 13 episodes in Japanese, but I've got to say, there's simply no comparison to the enjoyment garnered from the dubbed version. I personally feel that all the roles were cast wonderfully, and my only real qualm is not with the voices, but with the opening and closing being translated. I didn't particularly enjoy the original recordings, and I realize it was probably done for legal reasons, but still, I'd rather they not do that.
I also wish there'd be more Mori throughout, but that's the mangaka's fault. XP

I received news today that *something* I ordered online has finally shipped. No, I can't say what it is yet, since it's a surprise for my entire family (including Shika...following my line of reasoning?) but I'll be sure to fawn all over it once they've seen it.
