Rock Chalk Jayhawk! Go KU!

Chalmers’ 3-pointer sends Kansas to OT and a 75-68 championship victory over Memphis

I live about 20 miles from KU and my cousin graduated from there, so tonight's victory is pretty exciting. Though I didn't watch the game myself, (not for lack of interest, but for the whole needing to help my injured mother thing - she'd rather watch a movie, "Wimbledon" to be precise (good movie - love the actor (go little ball boy!))) everything I see makes it seem like it was quite the thrilling game. I'm sure I'll be hearing more than enough about it from everyone around here tomorrow. One of my accounts was even in San Antonio, so I'll get plenty of details from her.

Pretty boring post, I know, but I have nothing else to share. My life, for the moment, consists of working twice what I'm accustomed to, worrying over my mother's worsening condition (we've finally found out she did far more damage than initially thought), and functioning on far less sleep than a person should attempt. I'm so exhausted that I went to bed last night at 9:30. I never fall asleep before midnight. That gives you an idea of what I'm dealing with. And on top of everything, I have someone pestering me about updating the fanfic my sister and I are writing (though I appreciate the reader's interest). True, the last three posts were scattered over an 18-month period, but it's because my life went to suck big time August of last year. I want to get back on top of it, but it's hard to feel 'inspired' under these circumstances.

Enough of my whining. Congratulations KU! You did it! whoo!!
