I have bass practice starting tomorrow!
I'm a bit excited, and actually really nervous.
My friend's going to start teaching me.
The reason I'm nervous is because he's teaching me so I can take part in his band.
I'm not good, and I still have a lot to learn, but he says I'm the only guy he knows who is actually interested in learning bass.
So, we'll see how it all goes.
I'm hoping it'll be a lot of fun.
And they are excellent players, he and his band.
Just hope I can make the cut.

I was takin' a break, playing Gundam online.
Ran into these funny dudes, decided to play a few missions with them.
Main guy chooses a mission in which our opponent is Char.
Guess who chose Char as his character..

Me, oddly enough.
I'm glad friendly fire does not exist in that game.
I'd have been shot down a hundred times.
It was funny. We'd split up, take down our respective foes, Char comes out, and the guys would all be flying towards me, swingin'.
I mean, it's not really all that hard to differentiate the enemies from the team.
But, I guess when you're in the heat of battle and all you're really lookin' for is CHAR above a Gundam's head, it really doesn't matter.
It was a good session, tho.
Good session, indeed.
Days seem to be lookin' up.
The weather and everything else.
Woo.
Can't help but be in a good mood.
So, with all that done, I guess I'll go enjoy the night as well.

recently, and FINALLY got my hands on dynasty warriors mobile suit gundam 3.
probably not that big a deal for most.
huge deal for me 'cause "underground, indie, and low tier games" (says gamestop guy) are rare.
i remember seeing it about a year ago or somethin'.
i should've bought it then, 'cause i never saw it again until last week.
so, i totally dropped all the other games and got it.
well, not really.. i didn't wanna buy any other games.. it was a lucky find.
so, yeah.
i loved the first two games.
i played 'em non-stop for hours.
just like this one.
man, it's awkward doin' this post from an ipod..
too lazy to get to computer..
well, at least i can download more iphone walls while i'm here.

so, like..
i totally disappeared off the face of the earth..
playing two o' my favorite franchises.
heheheheh.
two months ago, after i remembered final fantasy xiii-2 was to be released, i went to my friend and was like, "NAME YO' PRICE FOR YOUR XIII AND I'LL PAY IT."
he was like, "no, i'm not selling that!"
"YOU DON'T EVEN PLAY IT, MAN."
"i'm not selling it! but borrow me mw3 and you can borrow xiii."
"well, why not, i have two copies for no real reason."
so i got final fantasy xiii from him and started playing it. (and still am)
got it to re-live the fantasy that is xiii, and to catch up on it.
well, with me lately, i wouldn't know what an attention span looks like.
during my cooldown periods (more like 360 cooldowns) i would play pokemon.
i finally finished white and silver versions and started on black and heart gold.
it's been cool with all that, since i totally got a mewtwo from an event.
flippin' mewtwo, man!
(by the by, if anyone would like to be jotted down on my pal pad.. for battles or something.. just tell me, and i'll give you the info)
then, jan. 31st, man.
my collector's edition final fantasy xiii-2 came in the mail.
"hold all my calls, hold all my mail, hold all my human-like.. behavior. i'll be playing this forever."
that i have been, somewhat.
it's coooooool.
i totally got the soundtrack with it!
best song ever: crazy chocobo.
for no reason, they just decide to make a metal version of the chocobo theme. xD
it's great. i love it.
i've yet to finish the game, tho.
and i'm afraid it'll be a while longer until i finish it.
as i said before, i don't know what an attention span is.

yesterday, my friends and i went to rapid city. (y'know.. in sodak)
went to gamestop, wanted to trade in some games, put the credit down on operation raccoon city or street fighter x tekken or something.
but, i decided to do some snoopin'.
i go to the used ps2 games and start shufflin' through.
what i found just buried my plans and rooted them in china.
both kingdom hearts.
"i pray to ifrit that they have the discs in stock." (i said that 'cause gamestop has been.. lacking as of late..)
"man, you don't even have a ps2."
"classic one, thirty bucks. battlefield three and those other two got me enough for it. i have forty in pocket."
;skip ahead a few minutes.
"we don't have this ps2 in stock."
";back of mind. 'i knew you would say that, you motherfuc--'"
"but, we have one slim left."
";back of mind again. 'then why do you have four stupid boxes of the classic ones on display?!' i guess that'll do.."
a few beeps and clicks later, and an extra ten dollars down, i got it.
sitting cozy under my 360.
.. well, not literally. entertainment center, you understand.
and i just realized.. that this is about the fifth time for me, buying those kingdom hearts and a ps2.
but, when your siblings don't give two snowballs about your life's passions, i guess you'll keep buyin' 'em.
so, anyway.
big plans coming up in the next few months.

music. (i got a new bass guitar, but that's another story for a different month. <_<)
an anime convention in june.
probably a hair cut.
