"Mommy! I want ice cream!" A little girl told her mom as her mom strolled her in a stroller with a teenager.
"It's almost time for lunch though, sweetie." The mom answered looking at the little girl with a gentle smile.
"But I am hungry. Please buy me an ice-cream!" The little girl begged persuasivly with puppy-dog eyes.
"Just buy her a cone, Cassie." The teenager told the little girl's mom with a sigh and the little girl had a smile on her face.
"Alright, alright. I don't know what to do with you two. I'll be right back." The mom said shaking her head with a defeated smile.
"Thank you, Aunt Rachel. Thank you, mommy." The little girl said happily, clapping her hands excitedly.
The mom walked toward the ice cream store which was across the street, then glanced at both sides to see if there were any incoming cars before crossing. When she made sure there weren't any, she started crossing the road. Suddenly, a car that was driving way over the speed limmit appeared around the corner heading straight toward the mom.
"Watch out, Cassie!" The teenager shouted anxiously at her sister. The mom glanced to the left and noticed that car was coming straight at her, but it was too late.
BAM! The mom slid down the floor with her eyes still open.
"Mommy!" the little girl shouted to the lifeless body lying on the ground while the teenager sprinted toward the little girl's mom leaving the little girl alone on the sidewalk in her stroller.
Momentarily, a man covered in black clothing from head to toe picked up the little girl from her stroller and ran toward a red car parked closeby.
"MOMMY! MOMMY! Put me down!" The little girl cried desperatly while hittling this stranger's shoulder and finally, she struggled her way out of the man's hands. She landed on the floor with a big thud and passed out.
Riiiing. Riiing. The alarm clock went off, and I instantly woke up and turned it off. That sure was a strange dream to have, I thought to myself. I glanced over at my nightstand where stood a photo of me and my mom when I was little. It was with me when the adoption center found me.
In the dream, the little girl looked just like me and the mother looked just like mine. It's just a concidence, I told myself. I sighed and wondered about what Sister Kathy told me whenever I asked about my past.

"You were found when the cops finally arrested a group of criminals who kidnapped little kids and trained them to do their biddings when they grow older. You were lucky that you were found so soon, or else you future might've been much more dangerous. Don't you agree with me?" This is what Sister Kathy said about the past which I have no memory of. I would just always nod my head and smile sadly while looking down at my feet.
I sighed at the rush of memory, this wasn't the first time I had that dream. I had it frequently and when I wake up, I always have a rush of memory.
I glanced at the clock. Shoot! I am running late. I scampered off the bed and did my morning routine as quickly as possible. I went to Claravia Academy, a boarding school in Boston, and I have been here since I graduated from junior high.
Today started out just like any other day until Mr. Kennedy called me to his room at the end of the day. Mr. Kennedy is the principal of my school, he might look like a nice man to most students, but in truth he's not. He wouldn't call on me for no reason, I knew he had something up his sleeves.
I took a deep breath and knocked on Mr. Kennedy's door.
"Come in." Mr. Kennedy said. I opened the door and walked in. Mr. Kennedy was sitting in the spinning chair by his desk doing some paperwork.
"Good Day, Miss Genni. Nice to see you again." Mr. Kennedy said with a smile. "Have a seat."
"No thanks. I would like to make this quick. Say what you want and then I will be gone." I said like I was bored. This was the second time I've ever seen Mr. Kennedy within such a close distance. Mr. Kennedy has brown short hair, and his eyes were a war and clear blue. His looks didn't match his apppearance at all, looks can be decieving.
"Why such hurry?" He asked with a laugh and leaned back on his chair.
"Whatever. Do you need me or not?" I asked with impatience.
"I certainly do. Please sit down so I can explain my need." Mr. Kennedy said seriously with all sense of humor gone.
"Fine." I said as I sat down on the couch. I was suddenly glad that I was wearing a hoodie sweatshirt with a pocket in the middle where I can reach my cellphone without looking out of place. My hands worked quietly finding the recording function without looking. I clicked the record button and I was all set.
"Well, you see, I have a rival and enemy named Albert Kingston. Everyone calls him Al. He has gotton himself in a bad place with me. I am going to kidnap his son Josh for my revenge." He explained with a serious face.

"Kidnap? Are you serious? Why would I get invovlve in this? I can get into deep touble when I am discovered." I almost screamed.
"Calm down. It's not that big of a deal. I'll treat Josh well, he won't get hurt."
"Not that big of a deal? You've gotta be kidding me!" I shouted at him, he cringed when he saw my reaction, but recovered instantly.
"CALM DOWN!!!" Mr. Kennedy snapped. I took a deep breath and repressed my emotional outburst.
"Sorry. I don't know what came over me." I apologized a few minutes later.
"It's alright. You're probably under a lot of stress." He reassured with a sigh.
"But why would I want to be part of this? This doesn't make any sense." I told Mr. Kennedy with confusion.
"You'll agree when you hear my offer." He said with a smirk.
"Like I will." I snorted.
"If you complete your task, I'll pay for all of the tuition you need to go to your dream college, Julliard, or any other college you want to go." He said with a knowing smile.
"Julliard?" I said not beleiving what I am hearing with my eyes pooped out. "Wait. What is my task though?"
"You'll transfer to Thronwade and become close friends with Josh for spying purposes. And you have to follow my commands at all times during your mission." He explained throughoutly as he watched my face's reaction.
"Spy? How am I suppose to do that?" I asked pretending to be puzzled.
"Dont lie. I've been keeping tabs on you since you became a student here. You have an IQ of 180 and you excell in everything, especially acting and spying. You're the perfect choice." He recalled with a laugh. He got everything right and I froze like a statue.
"Why? Why me?" I finally choked out.
"As I said, you are the perfect choice. You're an orphan, so you'll have no problem at transfering schools. Second, you are a perfect spy material, I am suprised you didn't go to a school for spies."
"Okay... But Thronwade? Impossible." I asked sarcasticlly. Thronwade is one of the most exclusive school on Earth and is known for their great academic programs.
"Your grades will easily get you in. The money is on me. WIl you do it?"
After a few minutes of thinking it through, I said reluctantly, "Okay, I'll do it."
"Now that's settled. Do you have any questions?" Mr. Kennedy asked with relief.
"Yes, how am I suppose to get close to Josh?" I asked.
"You won't get close to Josh," said Mr. Kennedy with a grin. When he saw my puzzled face, he added," It'll be him who gets close to you."

"Why would he get close to me when he barely knows me?" I questioned with confusion after a moment of hesitation.
"He knows you. And you got his attention." He said as he picked a pen off the table and twirled it with his hands.
"His attention? How?" I asked with suprise. This was not what I expected, it caught me off guard.
"Yes. He saw you in town the other day. I saw him looking at you with fascination." He said impressed with a chuckle.
"WERE YOU SPYING ON ME OR SOMETHING?" I shouted. I was suprised myself at my sudden outburst again.
"No, I was just walking by." He said shaking his head.
"Good."
"Now go. Go back to your room and I will set up everything and you'll get a new idenity for this mission. I will inform you of everything you need to know when I am ready preparing." He said gesturing to the door.
"Okay." I said as I sucked everything I just learned in. I wasn't until I was back in my room that I realized his last words. New Idenity.
