Here's the design for the costume I'm working on for Otakon! It's a gijinka of Kyubey from Puella Magi Madoka Magika that I came up with.
I'll post more pics of my actual progress to my "dreamland" blog-y world later. ;o But here's a list of the stuff I have so far:
- Wig (needs to be cut and dyed)
- Shorts (bought)
- Belt and shoes (bought)
- Sock garters (ordered)
- Vest (needs to be tailored)
And here's what I have left to do:
- Make jacket (fabric bought)
- Make ears
- Make rings for ponytails
- Cut and dye wig
- Make ribbon
- Buy/make shirt
- Buy socks
So far the only thing I've done by hand is making the vest. I'm gonna work on the jacket next. >:M I want to make the shirt, too, but considering time constraints I think I'm just going to buy a shirt for now. Maybe for another con I can make the shirt.
I HOPE THIS COSTUME COMES OUT OKAY...!!!! I'm mostly worried about the jacket because I've never made one before. Man I barely sew why do I do this.............
