Here's the Gabe doodles!

FUN FACT: I WAS ACTUALLY GETTING FREAKISHLY EMOTIONAL WHEN I WAS DRAWING THESE... I was listening to Get Me Out Of Here from Third Eye Blind's latest album and for some reason I was just feeling so moody... I listen to Third Eye Blind for a lot of my characters, but I feel like their songs tone-wise suit Gabe the most out of all my characters. Somehow. (idk I think about music and my characters a lot;; I think I only like songs/artists if I can find a character of mine to relate it to...)

For a long time I've never really considered Gabe a character that I strongly relate to (because he's so WILD AND FREE and I'm a cool stick in the mud), but lately I feel like I'm a lot more like Gabe than I am like Stefan. STEFAN... IS SO RESPONSIBLE... SO ORGANIZED...!!! AND I'M NOT AT ALL, I'M LIKE GABE I JUST LIKE 2 GO WITH THE FLOW. I feel like this hasn't really been apparent to me because in high school I was a really by-the-book person (and I guess I still am? I hate breaking rules and I can be kind of a prude HAHA), which made me feel like I was similar to Stefan. But since I've been trying to get stuff done for the artist alley table at Anime USA, as well as trying to do commissions, I'm really bad at setting deadlines for myself and actually getting things finished....... I also just wanna relax all day. WOW I HATE WORKING!!! It's really bad, I need to get better about these things.

But yeah, Gabe's kinda similar in that sense because he's used to always having his family (especially his sister Jo) bail him out of difficult situations (especially as far as money and jobs go), and he hardly does anything responsible on his own. Which is something I feel like he gradually learns to be better about... NOW IF ONLY I WOULD GET BETTER ABOUT THESE THIGNS LASFASLFH

Anyway that's some thoughts on Gabe. I JUST... really love Gabe... I always forget how important (?) of a character he is to me (BECAUSE I'M CONSTANTLY FRUSTRATED BY HIS HAIR), but when I do remember it always hits me real hard;;; I KNOW HE JUST SEEMS LIKE A DORK ALL THE TIME FROM WHAT I DRAW, BUT HE'S DOING HIS BEST...!!!

But uh. Yep. Gabe.
