Now that I've learned a little bit about how the Worlds work, I'll be putting a little bit of insight to (and possibly some backstory for) the sketches I make. Although, please don't expect very much out of this World until summer. ^^'

Kyoudai no Saiken

I think my first world post would be fitting to talk about my little keyblade. I know that when I originally made it, the name was read "Saiken no Kyoudai," but I didn't find out until later that my grammar was wrong! So I've corrected it since then. ^^ (I've also re-updated the picture which I've included here. The only real point of difference is the keychain, so I won't be uploading it as a different picture on the main site though.)

I guess I'll start on where the name came from. You see, I'm a fan of the Shugo Chara series, and I've made a fan character to fit into it. (As well as several other series that I enjoy, making him somewhat of an omni-series crossover character. ^^') He comes into the series as Nagihiko's older adoptive brother, and the two of them share this keyblade. So it's name, if written in kanji, would be 「兄弟の債券」or the "Brothers' Bond" keyblade.

Focusing on the only real design change is that the keychain is a fusion of their two charms, the one my character's mother made for him, and the one that he made for Nagihiko. (These charms are seen in better detail in a more recent drawing.)

This character (who will remain un-named until I can get some art of him put up) has been able to use the keyblade because of some events that happened in his past. But, because he never truly found the "light that gives his life meaning" within himself, he never discovered his own. Upon living with Nagihiko and the Guardians, he finds the light for both kinds of love in his heart. The kind of love he shares with his brother, and the love for his friends. (But I'm keeping his other keyblade a secret until I can finish sketching it. )
