Hard Project #3
If I could ask 10 questions to anyone out of the book, I would choose Hollis Woods, because she is a very kind, and loving person. But, yet her home life isn't that great. Her parents abandoned her in the woods when she was just a young child without even a blanket, so now she is being sent from foster home to foster home, in hopes of finding a good, loving family that will keep her. While she is "being sent" from one foster family to the next, she is being known as a mountain of trouble because, she runs away from the homes that she doesn't like, and she never goes to school. So, if I had a chance, these are the questions I would ask Hollis.
1. How do you like being known as a mountain of trouble?
2. Which foster family did you like living with the best?
3. Do you like not having to ever go to school?
4. What were some of the reasons that you didn't like the foster families that you ran away from?
5. How did you feel about having to be taken away from Josie?
6. Why did you choose "the mustard woman" to make th arrangements of where you were going to live?
7. Why did you run away from the Raegans, the family willing to give you a real home?
8. What types of things do you like to draw?
9. What is it like being with someone who can't remember much of anything, and is becoming more and more forgetful everyday?
10. Did you get in trouble when Josie found out that you were skipping school to take care of her?
11. What happened when you escaped social sevices?

Medium Project #2
This book is called Speak, by: Laurie Halse Anderson. It's about this girl named Rachel and,one of her terrifying memories is from the Twilight Zone movie that she watched in high school. One thing that she remembers well is a woman without a mouth, where her lips and teeth should have been, it was smooth, stretched out skin. Her brother who was a disturbed child that wished for things, and by doing this, made them happen. He was the one that took away her mouth because he doesn't want to hear her opinions, or what she has to say. I think that the idea of someone taking away your mouth, your voice, & your ability to SPEAK, is just chilling and sort of scary.

If I could invite one character from the book to my house, for dinner I would invite Fluti. And I would fix spaghetti, because that is my favorite food. Also, I chose to invite Fluti because I just really like his name! Here is how the conversation would go, (me)Hello, my name is Ashley. What is your name? (him)Fluti.(me) ohh I really like that that name. (him)Why, thank you. (me)Where is your hometown at? Indianapolis, I play football for the Colts.(him) Where is your hometown? (me)Oh this little town called Paris, maybe you've heard of it? (him)Nope I don't think so. (me)Well, that's ok. Lots of people probably have no clue where it is either. We have a football team called the Eagles. (him)Well, I guess I should probably be gettin back home it's starting to get kind of late.(me) Ok Well, it was great getting to talk to you, come back again sometime, and we'll have dessert too!!

I chose these song lyrics because, and to me it seems like a good comparison because the book is both about God, and football, and so is this song, in the song it's saying when we get to heaven, there will be a big, big yard outside of my fathers house where we can play football.

Easy Project #3
This is Howie Gotell coming to you from Millbrae California at Kaezar Stadium as the SanFrancisco 49ers are playing the Detroit Lions and they are down 12-0 at half-time. There is 6 minutes left in half-time, as the band is now performing "As the Saints go Marching in." When, Oh My! Look!! Their band has over 100 people in it. It appears that SanFrancisco's mascot is a green and orange dinosaur. The mascot, and the cheerleaders are now going to perform a dance to "Raise the roof." After they were finished the dance team will perform a song to" We Say, You Say." Now that half-time is over, the game will start back. The Lions have the ball at the 50 yard line, Steve has the ball, he's going, going, now at the 40, the 30, the 20, the 10--touchdown Lions. They will go for the field goal. And they will make it, this makes the score the Detroit Lions 18, and the SanFrancisco 49ers 0. With three minutes left to play in the 3rd quarter the 49ers have the ball at the 50 yard line, and Rice has the ball and he will make the pass to Holms, but aww man! The pass is intercepted by the Lions at the 10 yard line. Williams will run it back all the way for a touchdown by the Lions. This makes the score 24-0. The lions will go for a field goal, but it is no good.]= Now the third quarter is over, and the 4th quarter just now started. The 49ers have the ball, and they will go for a 2 point conversion, to try to get some points on the board, but they cannot do it. The 2 point conversion is no good. The Lions now have the ball,and they are at the 50 yard line, and they run it to the 30 yard line, but Williams attacks Rice and stops him from making thetouch-down. And with that play the Detroit Lions will defeat the SanFrancisco 49ers 24-0.
