The Rime Of The Ancient Mariner story in my own words.
The story is set in the 18th Century. It starts with a Wedding-Guest going to a wedding with two of his buddies. All of a sudden, the Mariner is stopped by an old man with a glassy eye. The Wedding-Guest struggles to get away, and the old man (the Ancient Mariner) lets him do so. But the Wedding-Guest is so mesmerised by the Mariner's glass eye, that all he can do is sit on a stone and listen to him. The Mariner tells his story of long ago, when his ship was set for an expidition to somewhere far away, with his crew of 200 men. On the way, they get caught by a huge and windy storm, which takes their ship to the very edge of the South Pole. Then, an Albatross, which is said to be a bird God sent for good luck, comes, and flies around the ship, and the fog is cleared. The ship turns around and starts heading back North to the Mariner's home, the Albatross following the whole way. Thinking that the Albatross was bringing bad winds, the Mariner shoots it with his crossbow. The shipmates cry out against him for doing that, because it was the bird of good omen, but the Mariner tells them that it was bringing the wind, so they agree and justify him. But that only made them a part of the crime. All of a sudden, the Albatross begins to be avenged. The wind stops blowing and the tides in the ocean stop moving. The shipmates and the Mariner are cursed also with endless thirst. They are so thirsty it is hard for them to speak. They blame the Mariner for killing the Albatross, so they hang the dead bird around his neck. Then a couple days later, after being still and not moving from the same spot for a long time, the Mariner see's a ship in the distance. He's wondering why the crap that ship's moving with no wind or no tides. Then he see's the ship, and it's two crew members, Death and the nightmare Life-In-Death, who is a blonde female with very pale skin. Death and Life-In-Death were playing a dice game, and Life-In-Death won and whistled 3 times, which caused the sun to go down, and all of the Mariner's shipmates died, except for the Mariner. And this was also a curse in the sense that all the shipmates were to stare at him with their dead hateful cold eyeballs. For days the Mariner sat alone, still thirsty, still not moving, his crew still dead. He's watching the water snakes swimming above the surface, and despises them. But then, he notices their beauty, and prays to God for the beauty in all living things. Then the spell starts to break, and the Albatross falls from his neck and sinks down like lead into the sea. It starts to rain, releiving the Mariner's thirst, and he is able to sleep. All of a sudden, his shipmates come to life, speechless, and dead in their eyes. They prep the ship, and try to head back home. The Mariner falls asleep and has a dream where two voices are telling him he's bad for killing the Albatross, and he still feels penance. He wakes up, and he is near his home. He sees all of his dead buddys' spirits be released, and forming their own light. In the distance in a row boat, the Mariner spots a small row boat with a pilot, the pilot's son, and an old holy Hermit. He wishes to go to the Hermit so he can shrive him of his sins. When the Mariner gets on the row boat, his ship sinks into a whirlpool. The Hermit shrieves the Mariner, but he will feel penance unless he tells his story to oncoming people. He tells the Wedding-Guest that he who loves all of God's things will live a happy and better life. The Wedding-Guest wakes up the next day a sad and wiser man. And that's about it and a bag of chips.

In my book, Where are you now? , by Marry Higgins Clark one of the main characters was Olivia Mackenzie. She was the mother of Caroline and Mack, and she was a really nice person. But her husband and son ended up dead and her daughter moved out, so for her birthday I would give her a puppy. She seems lonely and then she would have a companion to keep her company. What My Mother Doesnt Know By Sonya Sones
What My Mother Doesn't Know By Sonya Sones was a very interesting and good book. It was written in free verse poems and I enjoyed that because it was an easy read. This book was very suspenseful and I didn't want to put it down at times. It was about a very ordinary teenage girl and how she dealt with all sorts of teenage girl problems. It was very interesting to see how she managed lots of her issues because she got herself in lots and lots of situations. She did some crazy stuff in this book. She made lots of mistakes and had to endure the consequences just like every normal girl. I really enjoyed this book and would recommend this book to everyone.

If I could spend one day with one of the characters from the book I would spend it with Sophie. She seems like a cool person and was the main character in my book. Out of all the characters in the book she was the one that I felt the most connected with. Also, I would choose Sophie because we are very different in many ways. I think that I could learn a lot from Sophie. We would start the day off by eating a nice lunch at one of Sophie’s Favorite restaurants. Then we would go to the art museum. Sophie loves to go there to just get away from things and I haven’t ever really been to an art museum so it would be a good experience and Sophie could teach me a lot. After that I would take Sophie out to do something I enjoyed. I would take her to the golf course. Just like art museums are Sophie’s way to get away, golf is my way to get away. I would also bet that Sophie has never done that so it would be a good experience for her.
