A song that really relates to my book is I’d Lie by Taylor Swift.
In the song it talks about a girl liking her friend and how she can’t tell him how she feels. This girl knows everything about this boy, but is too scared to take a chance and tell him that she secretly has a crush on him. The book is about a woman, Vanessa, who has liked her friend, Brady, since she was little but is too scared to get together. The book also talks about how Vanessa and Brady’s sister used to be best friends and in the song it talks about the girl knowing the boy’s sister. As soon as I heard this song I thought of this book.

Two of the Main Characters in my book were Vanessa Saxton and Brady Tucker. They are similar in some ways but very different in others. Vanessa is the professional pianist; she is elegant and full of class. She has traveled and studied all around the world with her music. Brady is a smart doctor. He is more laid back than Vanessa and he is more down to Earth. He hasn’t traveled like she has and he lives in the same town he grew up in. They both enjoy each other’s company and they both like to have fun. They have each lost a parent, and are successful. They both are just two people trying to live their lives.
