Carmen got this pair of jeans at a thrift shop, they didn't look all that great. They were worn, dirty, and even speckled with bleach. On the night before they decide to go their seperate ways for the summer, Carmen decides to toss them. But, Tibby says their great and that she'd love to have them. Lena and Bridget also love them. Lena decides they should all try them on, and whoever they fit best will get them! Nobody knows why, but the pants fit everyone perfectly! Even Carmen who never thinks she looks good in any thing looks good in them too! A little while later, they form a pact and decide to form a sisterhood--The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants.
