The first round of the Razzmatazz Tournament went well for Popuri; on the Highway, Hellcat had just finished her first round but rolled into the motor stop having been rammed into the barrier by her opponent, she still won the race but her left shoulder was hurt, not to mention her car Snow White Chaser was written off with suspension failure as a result and was forced to wait for a tow truck.
"Sis, are you okay?" Replied Joel over the radio.
"My shoulder took a heavy hit, it's bleeding quite bad" Hellcat was starting to go pale. She struggled out the car and started slowly walking to the service stop to grab a first aid kit, but before she could reach the building, she was approached by Officer Barry Black. Barry tried to help her but Hellcat refused.
"Just let me get a first aid kit Barry, if you want to arrest someone, go after that ass hole who tried to take me out" Hellcat acting on sheer will power got the first aid kit but was getting too weak to help herself.
"Stop acting stubborn Hellcat, let me help you" Barry getting more concerned by the second.
Hellcat was only getting more frustrated but she knew she was running out of time.
"Fine! But don't gawk for too long!" Hellcat finally opened her oversized pizza delivery jacket, what Barry saw shocked him.
"What you've never seen triple D's before, hurry up!" Hellcat was bleeding heavily from her left shoulder, an old scar had opened in that area, Barry managed to stop the bleeding and bandaged up Hellcat's shoulder, the whole time Barry had remained quiet.
After a few minutes, Hellcat managed to regain some senses, Barry then asked a very personal question.
"That's a gun shot scar, isn't it?" Barry bluntly said.
"I rather it doesn't become public knowledge, if I fail anymore medicals I'll lose my license, just pissed off that you had to find out" Hellcat kicking the vending machine in frustration.
Barry knew it had something to do with the school shooting he read about, Freddy's hint confirmed it, Hellcat was one of the targets of the killer and Popuri saved her life. Barry was about to leave but Hellcat was in tears, Barry felt guilty for bringing up such a sensitive topic, he can see that Hellcat had alot to deal with.
"I can stay until your brother arrives with the tow truck" Barry spoke softly.
Hellcat reluctantly agreed, she was in no fit state to go anywhere, she eventually went to sleep on the bench she was sat on with Barry giving her a blanket.
After an hour, Joel finally arrived with the tow truck.
"I owe you one Barry, grandpa would go on a rampage if he saw Zoe's injury" Joel using Hellcat's real name. Barry still feeling guilty, wanted to help out Hellcat, he was reminded of his own troubles back when he was acting and his early days out of the Police Academy.
"Send her to Shark House tomorrow, I know a place that might help her"
