Before Amy could get stuck into the job world, she needed to register with Bayside Women's Institute; the group was founded in the 70s as a companion to the Bayside Working Men's Club which was founded in 1948 when work started on Gracie's Department Store.
The BWI as it's more commonly known allows it's members full public access to all known landmarks and locations in Bayside not normally seen by the public, this includes access to certain jobs.
A quick photo session followed after a lengthy application form signing and Amy was ready to go, before she left to receive her membership from the current President, the photographer gave Amy a big smile and giggled to herself, the well endowed, leather clad photographer was none other than Ramona Helkin.
Ramona took stock of Amy's body and whispered to Amy as she handed her, her new ID card. "You're very beautiful"
A shock to Amy's body almost paralysed her as her skin glowed red like a tomato, Ramona giggled one more time before showing her to the President's office.
Waiting for Amy was Wendy McCoy, the Mayor's granddaughter.
Amongst the welcome pack included stationary, travel passes and a number of induction materials allowing her to settle into this strange new routine, although one piece of the pack baffled her.
It was a dance card with four slots in, Amy wondered what it was for.
Wendy would explain that every new season, a grand ball would take place.
Spring Debutante Ball.
Summer Cinderella Ball.
Fall Dance Competition Ball.
Winter Gracies Ball.
Attending all four balls as a BWI member would grant her Queen status, Wendy pointed out that to even attend any of the Balls would require vetting from it's four masters, as well as a dress commission from Gracies designer Scarlett Landry.
Amy seemed daunted by the challenge but Wendy reassured her that all she really needed was competent dancing, a great public face and a dress Scarlett would be willing to design.
Amy felt even more downbeat, she never danced at her prom, her only formal dress is her prom dress and her public face was non existent.
Wendy just smiled and said "you'll be fine, you have more potential than you know, probably best to wait until the May Day dance festival, you'll get a better sense of it, no one ever does four balls in the same year and only about 210 BWI members have Queen status"
Amy was a little more relieved but it's the fourth time now that someone believed she had potential, Amy was worried she wouldn't live up to the expectations.
