Popuri and Suzuka were both fighting hard, both impressed by each others speeds as Suzuka had been the only person to keep up with Popuri.
During a brief stop, the two exchanged scowls.
"Guess it's not all the cat's doing, with that strength you are definitely Michelle Meadows daughter" Suzuka summarises.
"The only thing I provide is a drive to fight, all her abilities are her own, what I don't get is why you're so keen to battle her, are you just another Razzmatazz?" Popuri called out with the cat spirit's voice.
"That fool isn't worth fighting but I wanted to see for myself the person who Slippy Squad think so highly of, yet all I see is a broke girl with a useless degree who won't take advantage of her talents, Razzmatazz is right about one thing, you are a waste of talent" Suzuka declares.
Popuri's eyes returned to normal and her cat features disappeared and restarts the battle.
Popuri struggles to avoid Suzuka's attacks but still remained fast enough to keep up with her, in a close clash, Popuri just smiled.
"I see now it all makes sense, Miss Kobayashi" Popuri smirked.
Suzuka snapped and unleashes a powerful wind blast launching Popuri violently into a large tree.
Popuri was in extreme pain as she began to cough up blood, the cat spirit was shaken as to why Popuri didn't stop the attack.
Suzuka was breathing heavily rattled by Popuri guessing her secret.
"Want to know my useless degree? It's human psychology, you're a school teacher but you never wanted to be, you're so afraid of losing again that you became number one gamer to stop others, mainly your students from making the same mistake you made" Popuri laughing through the pain.
Suzuka screamed in rage as she unleashes a massive energy blast but a samurai deflects the blast with her sword.
"That's enough Suzuka!" the blue haired female samurai shouted.
Suzuka knew she couldn't win, and turned off the VR zone.
Suzuka punches a hole in a tree in frustration.
"That Popuri is remarkable, she took a defeat to rob you of your ability to win" the samurai treated Popuri's injury, her ribs were broken by Suzuka's attack.
Suzuka was crying in anger as she remembers losing to the samurai in her youth.
"Suzu, come on now" the samurai offered her arms but Suzuka slapped them away.
"Leave me alone Souki!" Suzuka threw a smoke bomb and left.
Souki sighed and helped up Popuri.
Souki picked up a communicator.
"Who's this?" Dawn called from the communicator.
"I'm Souki Yatogami, a school teacher, there's a blonde girl in bike leathers unconscious and Popuri has been defeated by Suzuka and has broken ribs, I don't see anyone else here, I did see Kara Shindo and Zoe Helkin's cars but they aren't here" Souki reported.
Dawn was shocked to hear Popuri got defeated but at least Lisa was captured.
"I've got my hands full with Cassius, I'm sending you a number, phone and tell them to help Barry, I'll leave the ambulances to you" Dawn finished the call but gets tied to a post with strings.
"Isn't it rude to talk on a phone while fighting" Cassius laughed.
"You won't like what's coming next" Dawn sent one more text, this time to Razzmatazz.
