Amy spent a couple more days under Paris at the clinic, she got on really well with the model and even got in a couple of bowling games after work even if Amy didn't stand a chance.
On Amy's last day at the clinic, she asked an interesting question.
"Why was I picked for this, I only ever worked in a supermarket, I'm sure there are other more worthy women who could do this" Amy asked Paris.
"Last year you saved a life" Paris said.
Amy remembered the incident.
A woman contracted sepsis and collapsed in the supermarket, Amy knew what was happening as her mother had sepsis previously so she got an antibiotic and fed it to the woman and it was enough to save her life until she was taken to hospital for proper treatment.
"That woman was Popuri Meadows" Paris said.
Amy was shocked, she always believed Popuri to be so strong, what happened to her to even contract sepsis?
"You have a heart Amy, and it wasn't just Popuri who approved this, Dr Michelle Meadows and Mayor Gracia McCoy did as well" Paris smiled.
"I wonder if I get to choose my successor?" Amy wondered.
"The BWI has a shortlist of women who could potentially be selected as your successor but if you see someone outside the group who deserves it, we'll approve it" Paris says stamping Amy's job book.
Amy stared at the window as if she was asking the reader "would you like to be my successor?"
