Popuri was discharged from hospital only to be sent back a day later due to sepsis, the quick thinking of a shop employee saved her life and will take another week to recover.
This gave Suzuka time to contemplate the situation she now found herself in with Popuri starting as an employee of the school, not helping is the euphoria created from their battle caused the students to keep asking questions about Suzuka's background as number one gamer in the world.
In the teachers lounge, one of the female teachers in a sparkly dress kept Suzuka company.
"Never thought you'd end up topping the popularity polls" the teacher known as Souma Kureha was referring to the school idol system that applies to teachers, with Suzuka's strict teaching, she's normally bottom especially when her subject is workshop class, Kureha sensei taught home economics.
"Ever since I lost that bet with Souki, I just feel so out of place in this environment, now I feel like I can never leave, why, why didn't Popuri stop my attack?" Suzuka was beating herself up.
"Loosen up already Suzuka, I think I speak for the faculty that you need a break from the battles and just embrace your talent for making things" Souma says.
Suzuka didn't want to admit that Souma was right.
"Have you seen the BWI marriage bounty? Why not try a date, you might finally feel something for life" Souma suggested.
Suzuka just picked up her bag and went to homeroom.
"Souki can you do anything?" Souma asked.
"Who knows, Giro sent me some Black Book data, both her and Popuri are listed as compatible with Dave Dreamer, it was originally 20 girls but it's now 40, I don't want to get involved with the McCoy Sisters in fighting but I think Suzuka should at least try, highest ranked single guy on the Highways who isn't Giro, he's not a bad catch really" Souki being complimentary.
"I think anyone dealing with Dave Dreamer needs to sort out that car buying problem" Souma mentioned.
