Darla Mills, 26 years old, born in Chicago Illinois to American and Puerto Rican parents, she's a Police Traffic Officer who works on the midnight shifts on Bayside's Highway racing scene, a job she earned through being a test and stunt driver, her main car being a 1973 Custom Dodge Charger, but she owns about a hundred more cars, mostly through saving them from renegade racers, earning her nickname the Magenta Storm.
After a while, things got boring, the fallout of the Black Bull x Prancing Horse Highway War meant that only the best racers remained on the Highways, leaving no one to arrest but the occasional rookie parking in the wrong place; Darla was desperate for some excitement until she met Dave Dreamer, she passed him on the North Highway stop where he parked over a double bay, so she issued a parking ticket, it should've been just a one off, but Dave's habit of bad parking and obvious speeding outside the Highways kept bringing Darla back, and each time, Dave had a different car, Darla had found someone on her wave length, so she kept issuing tickets just to get his attention to race against him with the promise of takeaway food if he did race her and this started a fast friendship which in Darla's case was becoming more romantic with every race but she felt she had no chance, Su-Jin, Zoe, Lucy and especially Nasu are all better racers than her, Darla barely makes the top ten, ranking 10th among female drivers, even when given the chance by dating Dave, she was scared that she wouldn't be picked.
So when the rose was given to her by Dave, she was so happy that she cried for hours.
Dawn really was right, Darla really did love Dave, and despite Dave's history of dating, he finally noticed, derailing everything Wendy thought about him and ruining her grand plans.
The first thing Darla did, was with all the money she got from Dave, she got him a new car and then made love in that same car.
They were made for each other.
