At one of the many stops on the Metro Highway, Zoe was ready for a race, although she doesn't know who to expect, joining her was Ayami's tow driver Jansen and Dave Dreamer, a regular racer with a habit of attracting trouble.
"So Ayami sent you instead of coming herself?" Zoe asked Jansen.
"Someone has to recover you, and that Camaro you're using is one of Ayami's cars, why is Dave Dreamer here?" Jansen asks.
"He saw some new fast food joint and decided to chase it, but he racked up another ticket from his stalker" Zoe more stressed than Dave by that statement.
Zoe scrolled through the map of potential racers, they were looking for a Mazda RX-8 driver with a driving style said to be the most elegant on the Metro, nothing matched that description yet although there was still time until midnight when she is said to appear.
In the meantime a loud Mitsubishi was entering the stop, it was a racer known as Eight ball.
"It's my lucky night, Zoe the Hellcat Helkin" spoke a girl with a Seoul dialect.
"I'm not in the mood Eight ball, I'm waiting for a different driver" Zoe replied.
"Why wait when I can race you now" the girl activated the headlights, Zoe reluctantly accepted and took off after the Mitsubishi driver.
Jansen took out a tracker and looked at the battle footage.
"Who's the Korean girl?" Dave asked.
"You're on the Helkin team and you don't know who Eight Ball is?" Jansen shouted but Dave just left a blank stare, Jansen reluctantly explained.
The Helkin clan is a massive family from Greece, said to be descendants of Zeus himself, they are blessed with perfect Adonis like bodies for men and amazon like bodies in women, but an enraged Hera placed a curse on each Helkin member as revenge for Zeus' constant adultery, they will only get these perfect bodies if they fall in love with their true partner, and they won't know until they meet them, it's not uncommon for a Helkin line to end because of this. Zoe's mother Ramona met her husband in school, much like Zoe, she was also bullied by cheerleaders, a particularly violent encounter was stopped when a short chubby teen defended Ramona from the cheerleaders, who then helped take care of her in the nurses office, the teen said he wanted to become a doctor and couldn't stand needless violence and suffering, Ramona fell in love and kissed him and transformed into the amazoness she still is today, she would also marry her precious doctor and have three sons and one daughter together, when it's pointed out that they don't match, she will always defend her husband as a true man.
Her sons, all Adonis built hunks, also found their true loves in the most unlikely people, Zoe hasn't found hers yet, as for eight ball, known by her real name Su-Jin Kim, has Helkin blood in her and resents the main family for it, Ramona is too difficult to defeat, known as the Goddess of Victory, she's one of the four Metro Queens along with Silver Swallow, The Silence and Blazing Rose, but thinks Zoe would be an easy target to soften the pain.
"So Zoe and Su-Jin are both going to become" Dave drew an hourglass with his hands.
Jansen bemoaned the simple answer, even if it was correct.
