Capcom Fighting Evolution (xbox)

I had dodged the idea of buying this game, because i didnt know much about it, and i had heard that overall it wasnt all that spectacular lol. Last weekend when i walked into gamestop and saw it on the shelf for 7$ i knew it was time to go ahead and grab it and see for myself lol. As a game it is pretty fun, even though it truly isnt all that spectacular. The cool side of the game is that it has a limited amount of characters from multiple Capcom productions such as Street Fighter 2, Street Fighter Alpha, Street Fighter 3rd Strike, Darkstalker, and Read Earth. It also uses the Team combat gameplay style, which is used in another game im going to post about in this post :) The gameplay is solid and i had fun playing it, especially since it is backwards compatible with Xbox360, but if you are going to buy this game, id suggest picking up Capcom Vs. SNK or Capcom Vs. SNK 2 for PS2 or Xbox because those games have the same characters, better gameplay, with the same fighting options plus more! all in all i was quite pleased with the buy, i really felt it was worth the 7$ i paid for it, and id suggest it to any fighting game fan :)

Marvel Vs. Capcom 2 (xbox)

I actually bought this game a couple of weekends ago. When i saw this game at Gamestop, it was priced at 59$ - USED! lol. I knew something was up: it eaither had to be rare, or there was a price mix up lol. All of the other xbox games up there were 10$ and under so this one stuck out like a sore thumb lol. I grabbed the game and asked the lady that works there if the price was correct and she said yes, which narrowed my thoughts to that it had to be a rare game. She then told me that it was a rare game and that the price on it would only increase, unlike most of the other xbox games which prices would decrease. I paced around for about 30 minutes before i made the choice to buy it lol. When i got home i started playing it and i was pretty impressed. I really liked the fact that there were alot of Xmen in the game, especially Cable lol. I havent played it much, but there is alot of stuff i need to unlock. From what ive seen, it is strictly 3 0n 3 combat, and you are able to switch between characters during battle, which i thought was pretty cool :) There are a limited amount of characters when you start playing, but i think you are able to unlock more as you progress. I couldnt find Ken, so i have been using Ryu in his place for the time being, hopefully he is unlockable lol. This game has been enjoyable so far and im hoping to play more of it soon (probably this weekend) when i have alot more time lol. The gameplay is solid and the diverse characters make this game one of a kind :)

King of Fighters: Maximum Impact (xbox)

This is The first King of Fighters game that ive had the privelidge of buying and/or playing, and even though ive only played on match, i really felt comfortable with the controls ,gameplay and i also really liked the graphics of the game too :) Im a pretty big Fatal Fury fan, so i was pretty familiar with some of the characters. I have Fatal Fury 2 for SNES, and i have also been able to play as some SNK characters on my copy of Capcom Vs. SNK 2 EO as well. I saw this game last weekend at gamestop for 8$, and after hearing my good friend xaos praise the KOF series, it urged me to check it out. The only match i played, i chose Terry Bogard (in his leather coat attire, which i REALLY liked lol) against Clark Steel. I loast the first round because i was getting use to the controls, but i went on to win the next 2 rounds in a row lol. The graphics were pretty awesome and it was cool to see Terry in 3D for the first time in my life :) The presentation of the game was pretty awesome, and i am really looking forward to playing more of it this weekend as well :)

Well i suppose that is all for today's post, i may post tommorrow about a game i may start playing this weekend that has been on my mind for a while, so be sure to check back :) I thank you all for visiting and i hope to chat with you all soon :)

stay strong,

Yamcha
