"Damn you! I'm going to make you regret this!" I howled as needle after needle was injected into my arm.
A lone tiger, I had traveled towards the city of Delte, which had been infected by a virus. Did the virus make me sleep like it did to the other animals? Hell no! Why would I get to rest in peace like the rest of the animal kingdom! No. I got to be tested day in and day out by these goddamn humans.
"Taiga, please calm down. This would be much easier if you'd just cooperate with us," the doctor made of 50% fake and 50% bastard told me, attempting to calm me down. Yeah, right.
"I'll calm down the day you die! Let. Me. Out!" I shouted, thrashing against the restraints holding me down to the metal slab.
The man attending to me sighed and chose a especially long needle to put me to sleep with, but my thrashing tail knocked it out of his weak hand. Pff. Was that the best these mongrels could do?
As he bent to retrieve his object of torture, the straps holding me down stretched farther and farther, finally breaking. I rolled of the examination table, kicked the man in the face, and dashed towards the door.
Opening it was easy, and I was soon into the overly bright hallway. It seemed to go on forever, and the occasional scientist would drift out of a doorway. Won't be seeing much of them for a while, I thought with a smirk.
They completely underestimated me giving my height of 4’ 8". And they would soon regret that. I made it out of the testing building and immediately spotted two figures with animalistic figures. A quick glance at my own tail told me they had probably been experimented on as well.
From the sky, I also saw a guy flying, which meant he had escaped from the building too. He was heading towards the two girls I had just looked at, so I decided to make my way over there as well.
A sniff of the air told me the one crying was fox, and the one pulling on her arm was a dessert lynx. My prey. Great. I was going to have to help my freaking prey.
With a shake of my head, I began sprinting towards the girls, and reached them at just about the time the eagle boy landed.
This day was just getting better and better, wasn't it?
Stupid humans.
