Taiga Akashiya
Just as I reached the group, a bat girl arrived as well as an arctic fox. This just keeps getting better and better, doesn't it? With that bitter thought, I heard the faint sound of a rattle snake. I turned around with the group and noticed a snake guy running away from something. Right behind him were those damn humans.
"The bastards," I swore under my breath. The others and I immediately began running. Eagle Guy hung back and picked up the snake, carrying him over the fence and to safety. He appeared to be shouting warnings to Fox Girl as she started to climb over the fence.
Light seemed to appear out of no where on the fence, forcing the fox backwards. The humans were upon us shortly. Well, they were upon the other animals. Just because I looked like I was 10, didn't mean I fought like it.
Not caring about the electrical fence, I began to climb over it, ignoring the sparks of pain and the black dots now dancing before my eyes. Pure will and determination had me scaling that metal wall of torture in no time.
I hopped down onto the other side and waited for the others. Wait. I was waiting for the others? Now that was something to laugh about. Snake Boy, Eagle Boy, and Bat Girl had reached this side of the fence as well, but the last two were going back over to help the other people.
Fools. Did they think they would survive by helping other people?
Snakey on the other hand began pacing back and forth, probably waiting for the humans to start shooting at us. I surely wasn't going to wait.
I took off, speeding over towards the forest that bordered the city. That was where I had been captured. I wouldn't be surprised if there were more humans over there. This place was freaking crawling with them.
From behind me, I could faintly hear the sound of footsteps, and knew that the other animals were now following me. I snuck a quick glance and saw a human aiming his tranquilizer gun at the eagle. He was stupid to think that he wouldn't be a target, flaunting his wings high in the sky.
He plummeted to the ground, but I kept on running, not caring if he died or got recaptured. The girl on his back seemed scared out of her wits as they fell towards the ground. Out of the corner of my eye I saw a few of the others going back to help them. What the hell could they possibly do?
I finally reached the forest, only to be met with more of those damn scientists. Kicks and punches were thrown by me in a flurry, not caring where I hit those humans as long as I actually hit them. The first few animals turned people behind me arrived, and I sighed, realizing we would probably have to stick together.
Great. I just loved team work.
