I looked at the tall fence. It seemed all wiggly and fuzzy. Is this what you call "dizzy"? Man, those must have been some powerfull sedatives. As someone told us not to climb, I looked up to see if I could jump it, I couldn't get a firm grasp on it's hight. Just then, the bat girl came over and offered to fly me. Fly? I don't know... Trees are one thing, but not having solid ground under my feet was something entirely different! But it was my only way over...
"Okay..." I told her reluctantly. Grabbing on, she flew me over quickly, which I was gratefull for. On the other side, my vision was getting dim.
"Ugh..." I groaned. But I can't stop here! They'll just get me again. Focussing as best as I could, I ran off, following the scent of the tiger girl. Tigers were cats, right? She would feel some kinship! ... I hope.
The rattlesnake boy scared me, but made my mouth water. Every once in a while, my mommy would bring hope a rattlesnake, and I would play with the rattle. Memmories, memmories... As I thought, I realized I was drifting off. My sight was limited to only what was right infront of me.
"D-dammit..." I repeated what I had heard the humans say when they were fustrated. "Can't... Stay... Awake..." I stumbled a few more steps, put my hand on a tree, and slid down to the ground with my knees together, and my calves spread like a V. Blinking a few times, I leaned against the tree, and felt my mind slowly loss conciousness...

"Mommy?" I asked the larger she cat next to me. "Why do we always hid from humans, if they're so nice to other cats?" She sighed, and looked down at the human nests below us.
"Because they don't like how we look. They don't like that we don't abide to their rules." I blinked a few times at her answer.
"So... They just don't like us?" I asked.
"Well..." she tossed words around in her head, but finally sighed. "Yes, that's the basics of it."
"Oh..." Just then, we reached home, and my brothers and sister's ran out to greet us.
"The burrowing owl stopped by," my father said grimmly. I'd never seen him so upset! My mother looked at me, then told me to take my siblings to collect the food we'd burried. I walked away a bit, and divided up areas for collection. When they left, I walked silently to the small cave's entrance.
"An illness?!" I heard my mother exclaim.
"The animals are falling asleep. They say a few turned into HUMANS!" he whispered furiously, emphasizing the last word.
"But... How can that..."
"Shortly after the owl left, I found him in an unwakable sleep not far from our cave..."
"So that means...!"
"Yes. We all have it..." I couldn't stand it anymore! I walked into the cave and looked at my parents. They looked at me, and suddenly we were all together, weaving and licking fur for comfort.
"I love you..." I muttered. It was the last thing I ever told my parents.
