Waffle's Rant, Update 7
New banner, icon, and background. This time around it's an InuYasha theme. I literally just started rewatching some of my favorite episodes from the first run and I'm trying to catch up with the story line for 'Final Act'. Episode 18 reminded me why I love this series and how proud I'll always be of the fact that InuYasha was my first ever manga and anime. New stuff, same old Waffles. Enjoy.

Avatar News: First Trailer
I'm trying to keep up my "IT'LL BE GOOD" spirit (which is often dashed by the fact they're all SO WHITE) but its getting to be a bit hard. I do know what will restore some of my faith though: Aang acting like Aang.
By that I mean that super happy spazzy kid that he is for most of the show, zipping around doing cartwheels, not really too concerned about saving the world. (And is it just me or does Aang's action shots/bending look REALLY CORNY?)
By the way a movie I recently was doing the whole "IT'LL BE GOOD" song and dance with was the 'Percy Jackson' movie. It worked, I loved that movie and I really thought it worked well seeing as how they don't know if they'll be making sequels based on the next books yet. Only concern was when reading reviews when people rip on the fact the kid has black hair... seriously? I know Harry Potter has black hair but so does half the world... AND SO DO MOST GREEKS. >:C Bad form reviewers, bad form. Costuming rocked my socks off, the kids totally pulled off a perfect trio vibe, and LUKE WAS SOOO HOT AND CUTE which I totally didn't see coming. Oh and Grover's one-liners were to DIE for "YOU CAN'T KILL THEM, THOSE ARE WORKING CLASS AMERICAN CITIZENS!" Percy had some good ones too and the kid who played him was a total spazz in A GOOD WAY! 'AVATAR: TLA' TAKE NOTES! (See I tied it in together in the end.)

I'm considering not going to Anime Central this year. I honestly only go for the shopping and to cosplay. Last year I didn't really buy anything and frankly I have no idea what to cosplay this year, seems like most people I know already have stuff figured out and I'm too old and too uncaring to try to squeeze my way into people's plans.
I might just be a bit depressed about the fact I'll be 20 in a month... We'll have to see about Acen, but for now I really don't think I can force myself to go.
