Birth By Sleep: Trailer

The Kingdom Hearts games are pretty epic, but I get the feeling BBS is going to blow them all out of the water.

So Apparently...

So apparently my little sister might be getting a puppy for Xmas. On one hand I think this is a great idea cause it would get her up and active, give her responsibility and it'd be really good for our dog Lumos (HE NEEDS A BUDDY).

On the other hand... I'm just afraid she'd lose interest in it. She doesn't have the best record of staying focused on things. And... good lord she wants a french bulldog which can be really ugly or kinda cute. And I'm terrified she'll call it Naruto...

Waffle's Rant, Update 6.5

New banner, and icon. Same background though. Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep themed. New stuff, same old Waffles. Enjoy.

New Pet

I'm not sure if ya'll know this but New!Fish (who I think most people wanted to be called Roxas) ended up.... -ahem- making love to the filter... and henceforth met a watery grave.

Now with this tragedy well behind me I've decided its time to move outside the realm of fish. As of late I've really missed having Shelly (my box turtle our family got from a friend of a friend and had for about five years). Basically because she wasn't a rodent (which my mother HATES) and was a pet I could actively look after and care for and actually, ya'know play with.

So I'm thinking it might be time to welcome another herp into the family. The last couple of days I've done some poking around the web and I think I've come to a conclusion. I'm going to be getting a leopard gecko. They're suppose to be starter lizards (and god knows I'm a starter) and fairly easy to care for. I did have to really examine if I'd be okay with feeding it crickets (worms aren't icky in my book... worms don't have legs) but... I've decided I'm okay with that.

Honestly I'm probably freaking myself out about the whole thing. I've done a good bit of research but... I don't know anybody who's had one first hand. So... anybody out there? If not that's a-okay, I'll just attempt to figure it out/bug people on a forum I found.

AUGH SO EXCITED! I've gotta clean out my old tank, and... ask my mom if its okay. Dad is okay with it and mom should be too. Then I've gotta go out and buy some supplies... and in January I'll be picking out an actual gecko at a reptile expo.

Shoujo Rant

This is pretty much yoinked from my FB, but expanded.

If only life was like a shoujo manga... and by that I mean attractive guys fawning over you. Well it's not so much the 'guys' part as your one true love being magically delivered to you. Like no real mess finding him, just a mess getting together, and I'd effing plow through that mess. I just want him to show up hassle free... magically, nowish preferably.

Seriously I get frustrated reading shoujo cause for the most part they tend to string ya along for the long ride. There's only a few nice and sweet (satisfactory) short shoujo's out there. Cause... shoujo is kinda like 'Twilight' in the way they give you a "perfect man" and a blank enough slate for a main character you can project yourself on her. But normally I don't get attached to one character or another, I like 'em as a couple (taking things at face value is a skill of mine). But... GOSH DARN! If I was in an effing shoujo I'd be jumping my leading man's bones three chapters in. Attractive man tailored perfectly for me... WHO WANTS ME?! I will take that, screw the drama!

Maybe that's because I'm a good few years older than most girls in manga and I tend to... not take a lot of BS. -sigh- I just think it'd be nice to have a nice viable guy hanging around. I should probably attempt to jump on that dating bandwagon soonish... >.>

Oh hey another rant, how quaint. This was brought on by reading Dengeki Daisy, which I REALLY enjoy (cause it doesn't screw around as much as other shoujos). I just really liked Kurosaki and want to get my vicarious smoochies on.
