Selphie Rant
I feel sorry for Action!Selphie. She doesn't have any female friends. In fact, the only girl toys in the house are barbies or stuffed animals. Not really a good fit for her. Of course, if they made an Irving action I wouldn't feel so bad cause at least she could get all dolled up for hot dates. Browsing the Square site there didn't seem to be many girl avaiable, and I'm not incredibly fond of the ones that are. I suppose I could buy her a Squall, for company, but I would totally dig out Ugly!Cloud so that Squall/Leon and Ugly!Cloud would dissolve into petty one liners about angst.
Acen is around the corner and maybe I'll find her a female friend. There is one new action figure I'm hoping to get my paws on, and with my big sister coming home this summer there'll be a gag guest. Poor Selphie, I should try to find her a barbie cowboy hat at the very least. As always, no new comics during the weekend.
Shutter Shades
So.... I got a giftcard for borders that I'm not gonna use (I KNOW RIGHT?!) and I think I'm gonna sell it back to my rents for the moneyz. Anyhoo, I think I'm gonna use the extra moneyz to buy shutter shades. Like, those crazy glasses Kanye West wears. I don't like Kanye West, and I don't like rap music, I just think they're hella funny. I'll probably get a color that'd go good with my Larxene cosplay. Now to find the suckers...
War of the Worlds
I've always kinda wanted to do a fanfic of Organization XIII origins. Just going through all the neophytes and basically recounting they day that they 'died'. I really don't think I'll ever get around to it, but here are some possible Disney worlds they might have originated from.
Saix: A part of me really wants to say Halloween town just for the mere fact of his werewolfish tendencies. On that note, I can also see him in basically any early Disney medieval movie living out in the woods as a noble-type person. Probably 'The Sword in the Stone'.
Axel: I've seen stories of him from 'Hunchback of Notre Dame' origins, which works pretty well. Axel as a gypsy makes a lot of sense. Though I think 'Pinocchio' would work just as well. He could be part of some circus act breathing fire, or even have been whisked away to 'Pleasure Island'. On top of that, Axle is a fairly common German name.
Demyx: People always jump to 'Atlantica/Little Meremaid' which I get. I see him as more of a 'Lilo and Stitch' type of guy myself. The movie has a large focus on both music and has some really pretty water scenes. Well... it does take place in Hawaii after all.
Luxord: This one is a bit harder, and I'm going to say "Aristocats". I know it takes place in Paris/France but that's a simple boat ride away from Great Brittan, and I think Luxord would've had a lot of fun in turn of the century Paris. Possibly a human in the 'Great Mouse Detective' or 'Peter Pan', I dunno why I keep putting him so far back in time...
Marluxia: Okay, this is probably the hardest one for me. My gut reaction was actually 'Bednobs and Broomsticks'. Don't ask me why, I honestly have no idea. Probably because it was 60s-tastic and Marly just screams 'flower power'. Maybe 'Tarzan'... out in the African rain forests, being one with nature and hunting big game.
Larxnene: 'Oliver & Company', she just screams big city to me. So I can totally see her in 80s New York with some crazy headbands on and killer high heals. Maybe some shoulder pads too.
I'm kinda assuming that the original members all came from Radiant Garden. People in KH don't really seem to wander away from their home worlds other than it being destroyed. Of course Roxas is from Destiny Island and possibly, maybe, most likely, 99.9% sure that's where Xion is from as well.
Feel free to throw in other possible worlds and worlds you would love to visit in the upcoming KH games. Personally... I want to go to a Pixar world. I don't care which one... well probably not 'Incredibles/Bug's Life/Cars'. Can you tell those are my least favorite ones?

I put the ? back in front of the wig cause... I have to style it and stuff. The cloak is currently in production and I should have it in about two weeks. I'm really excited to see it! I mean, what KH fangirl doesn't want an Org cloak of their very own? I might make it my new winter coat... but that could ruin it! Bless, I think I'll love it too hard. It also just hit me that I'll need gloves. It's a question mark because most likely we'll have some hanging out in our glove bag in the coat closet.
The wig is being stared at really, really hard these days. I think I'm gonna attempt to tackle it in the near future. I've been lurking about on the interwebz getting looks/ideas from other Larxene cosplay(s?). I need to get some crazy law defying gel though.
Every year though there's a kinda epic 'OH CRAP I NEED A BAG' struggle. For my Ouran girl it was a fake Prada bag from...I think it said Milun. Something like that. Last year I took a briefcase as Mia Fey. This year is really tricky though. In the manga version of COM she's almost always always reading a book. Apparently it was some work by the Marquis de Sade, so I'm gonna troop out to the local book store(s) and hopefully snag a cool looking book by him. Then I'm gonna hollow that baby out, and use it to stuff my cash. Before I was thinking of adding a pocket to the inside of my cloak but this'll work better. I'll make Sara (who's going as Namine) carry it for me. MWHA HA HA. Hopefully it'll be big enough...
