Okay... I need some help.

My dog recently attempted to eat my cell phone, now the main three buttons (2 for selecting, and the call button) don't work and there's a huge crack/hole on/in my screen. I would assume most parents would whine and complain a bit but end up buying their kid a new cell phone. Not the case. Apparently my dad wants me to buy myself a new cell phone. Now... this is where I get a bit pissed off. First of all that phone was my birthday present. Second, I know for a fact that when my older sister's cell phones got abused past the point of use they bought her a new one. Third, I don't have a job and they make me pay for school stuff (classes/tuition/books/gas) so I'm pretty much trying to save as much money as possible. Fourth, I (for the most part) hold my own weight around the house, I don't ask for them to buy me clothes/furniture and what I do get for free (a hair cut once a year, food, water, etc) is the same thing my sisters get for free (in truth they probably get more than I do). Fifth, I don't even like cell phones, so why am I paying for something I wouldn't even use voluntarily?

Um... is there any way for me to bring up these points without seeming like a selfish spoiled brat? Cause even as I was listing them I felt like a jerk for throwing that kinda stuff in their face. Like... I know that over all I don't cost them a lot of money, but I doubt they see it that way. Augh, this blows.
