Here's what I really love about this game... it reaffirms my love for Axel. Hell it makes me understand it more. You see, Axel pops up and is such a conniving bastard a lot of the HARD CORE fans hate his guts. There is no honor in being an Axel fan. He kills people and gets off on it. He's not a character you're suppose to like. Hell, he was supposed it snuff it rather quickly until the fangirls went surprisingly crazy over him. But... I love him as a character. Possibly because Axel has these lines that come directly from my brain... HE TALKS JUST LIKE ME?! I say... weird things that make me sound like an outdated soccer mom and so does Axel. Perhaps I love him so because we share the same wave length. And yes my wave lengths often go into the best way of stealing something, killing somebody, and making up the perfect lie. Axel... is freakishly similar to me. He's a right bastard, and I can be one hell of a bitch. Around our friends we can be amazingly supportive and often the one people goes to for advice (god only knows why). So... I'm Axel, and Axel is I. Augh... so freaky.

Day 27: The cutscene right after the main intro of KHII pops up and continues on. I’m still not sure if its Riku/Ansem or Xemnas but he mentions that Roxas only been alive for six day and mutters something unheard (Sora? They are talking about his name after all). In Roxas’ bedroom Mr. Mom and Papa state that Naminé has started her work (so C.O. is totally over, eh?) and wonder if Baby!Roxas will wake up again. They don’t seem too worried about it, cause Xion can handle the job now. Xemnas says something about a chamber… hmm.
Day 49: Roxy boy as been asleep for a long time… Xion has taken to playing nurse-maid and tells him about her day. She’s been to a new world and leaves him a pile of seashells by his pillow. SORA? SORA I SEE YOU!
Day 50: Oh crap it’s Kairi’s voice! And Roxas wakes up! The Chamber of Sloth is empty, so Roxas goes up to the Clock Tower and runs into Xion. She’s surprised to see him there and tells him that he’s been sleeping for a long time. Boy this game likes comparing Roxas to a zombie… Xion’s taken up collecting seashells from every world she goes to. Kairi and Sora sit on the dock (during the sunset…) from KH1.
Day 51: Demyx tells you to do a mission for him and that he’ll make it ‘worth your while’ hmm. Xiggy informs us that everybody at C.O. has kicked it and Mr. Mom refuses to tell us anything. Mommy is becoming very un-mother like… :C. Four new missions are available. Apparently we’re on our own now, everybody else is too busy to deal with Roxy-Pooh. We’re gonna go take number 19 cause Deserters are now my new fav Heartless. Easy mission, little to no running around. Roxas heads out to Lonely Tower of Lonliness afterwards. I’m kinda hoping there’ll be a moment between Axel and Roxas like Sora and Riku in KH2 “I LOOKED FOR YOOOOOU!”.
Day 52: So I reconfirm what mission Dem wants from me, which is number 14, the Darkside one. I won’t bore you with the details, but Demy gives me a shining shard. This time I take 17 (another side mission) and I have to kill a Heartless called a Tailbunker which is kinda like those dragon ones on crack. They set it up to look like an epic battle… but seeing as how I was half dead my limit break + jumpy keyblade was kinda stacked up against it.
Day 53: Mission 18 has you collecting Organization emblems which is pretty much a time test. You only get mission points if you collect the emblems while they have the green circle around them. If the circle runs out you can kill a heartless to get ‘em back. 2 of them are kinda frustrating, you have to doing a running jump off ledges to get ‘em but the heartless are pretty easy. So… -shrugs-
Day 54: Time to actually get to work. I love how Mr. Mom will actually tell you what you should stock up on before you set off, because he cares… deep deep down. Upon arriving you over hear that another sandstorm is due to hit Agrabah and that the locals have indeed noticed the Heartless popping back up again. Didn’t… Sora lock all these keyholes? Shouldn’t they be safe from Heartless attacks? Isn’t that how it works? Oh well… off to go kill things. About half way though there’s a cutscene with Abu and… Sora appears on the bottom scream all fuzzed out like you’re getting bad reception on an old TV. FREAKY!
Day 71: Xigbar has a new nickname for us: Sourpuss. :C Demyx says it’s been confirmed that everybody at “C.O. has been K.O.’d”. He seems fairly happy about it. In fact… nobody seems to be too concerned about all their ‘comrades’ dying. Oh.. and Demyx calls Xigbar “Xiggy”, fangirls your ship now has wind in it’s sail (finally). Mummy sends us out to Twilight Town to pop some Darkness zits. You can tell in this mission especially that if you want to complete it fully (past the bare minimum) you’ll need double jump and glide. I miss double jump… Anyhoo pop enough darkness zits and run back to the portal only to… OH HI THERE AXEL! Axel tells us only the weaklings were killed and… He’s acting a lot more like COM!Axel then our happy friend from the start of the game. Somebody is jaded… he even says that Roxas couldn’t have really been worried seeing as how he doesn’t have a heart. Ouch. Axel… :C A little bit of sea-salt and quality Roxas time seems to perk him back up though. Which is nice. I would’ve hated if it played out like Axel really was becoming a heartless drone monster type-of guy until he loses Roxas… that would’ve sucked. Roxas informs Axel that he’s been inviting Xion out on ice cream dates and Axel seems a bit surprised by it. Roxas then says she’s his friend. Wow this is kinda weird. Wonder how this would’ve played out if Axel had come back sooner… maybe Xion wouldn’t be his friend? Hmmm.
Day 72: Mommy wants to know why Axel was gone so long and why he let NamNam escape. Well… we know that Axel let her go, but he’s not telling. When asked if he searched every room for her (possibly explaining where the hell he’s been) Axel says “that’s like counting grains of dust in a building full of sneezing people.” OH AXEL! Mommy reveals that he’s behind the whole C.O. incident and that he simply found a place to send people who were getting in the way. Axel specifically mentions that he got rid of Zexion like Saix wished. INTRIGUE AHOY! When Roxy gets his ass outta bed Axel tells him they’re paired up today as a “slap on the wrist”. Off we go to Agrabah to collect us so hearts. More Sora flashbacks on touch screen… (GET OUTTA MAH HEAD SORA! Don’t you dare try to say that Axel is Donald/Goofy :C). Oh hey Pete… who’s looking for something… Which appears to be a lamp. I’ll assume its Jafar’s lamp. Axel and Roxas both seemed to be confused as to how a lamp could possibly grant you a wish… CRAZY ‘OL PETE! So Axel decides that Heartless can wait and its time to follow “Lunkhead” instead. Axel has to convince Roxas to be ‘flexible’ (OH THE PUNS) and that following after suspicious people really is part of the job. Really… seriously. Just do it. OH GOD IT’S A SNEAKING MISSION! SIDENOTE: Maybe two years ago I said my ideal next in-between game would be like Splinter Cell only staring Axel… -head desk-. Basically he has a line of vision and so does Roxas. You have to keep your line of vision in his line of vision without his getting into yours… very confusing. So Pete finds a magical wall in a magical city plagued by evil evil sand and we tail him out to our friendly neighborhood Sand Tiger Cave…OF WONDERS! Pete’s taken off into the depths of the cave so Axel convinces us to be even more flexible and go back to the original plan of collecting hearts. After some puzzle solving and by some I mean an ungodly amount a big ass heartless show's its big ass up and fills up your quota. So off we go for some quality ice cream time. I mean... who cares about Pete and lamps when there is POPSICLES!
