What's in a Title?

So my big epic fic is pretty much down to two titles: 'South Cross Land' the title coming from the song "Baba O'Riley" which really captures the feel of that story but I didn't want to use "Baba O'Riley" cause many people don't know why/that it's called "Baba O'Riley" and "Teenaged Wasteland" is so... contrite. Another name is a tad bit on the spooky side (at least in my mind) and would simply be "The Blue House" because a major element in the story is a house... which is blue.

The other thing I've been working on is something that stewed in my head for EONS and now is getting written. Basically a story in the vein of something my least favorite author, Jane Austin, would write. Yes a story about duty to your family and duty to yourself. This has been a lot of fun to write. I got to do research on etiquette and invent my own naming rules and country and religion and stuff. No set title for this one yet. I might try to rip of Austin some more and follow her titles. "Sense and Sensibility", "Pride and Prejudice" that type of thing. My goal is for you to spend most of your time trying to figure out what the main character is going to do... Kinda like an Austin book... Anyhoo I've been cranking out about a chapter or two per week. I'll probably post this one online before the EPIC STORY because this one gets updated more than the EPIC STORY. And by posting I mean somewhere ya'll will never find it.

I know nobody reads these but it helps get out the tangles in my head.
