Our first World is Castle of Dreams, which is where Cinderella hails! I think this is how the game is going to continue on for awhile. Aqua chases after Ven and Terra but never really catches up with either of them and really doesn't get a chance to bring them home. Also: I sometimes use "we" and that "we" means Aqua and me. But, you can totally be part of that "we" too!

• So we’re in the ball room and Aqua swaggers in and is all like HOLY CRAP A CASTLE! (Even though she lives in one…) and VOOSH

• Off goes Cinderella being chased down by the footman!
• And Terra is here!
• And is ticked to find out Ven came after him. But he doesn’t know… (GUYS I TYPE THIS AS I GO, SERIOUSLY I HATE WHEN THEY CONTRADICT ME AS I TYPE) Ven tried to tell Terra something but… Terra didn’t listen.
• Terra didn’t find Master Xehanort here but somehow knows his agenda? Which is: to find pure hearts filled with light. Which confuses Aqua. Again, how does Terra know this?
• Aqua is going to stay to look for clues and it looks like Terra is taking off and suggests you go talk to… CHARMING! I hope Aqua freaks, really I do.
• Apparently Aqua has a dream? And it might have something to do with Cinderella (who he met?) and he tells Aqua that Cinderella taught him that a powerful enough dream can keep away the darkness. I don’t know if that advice is really for Aqua or if Terra just wants her to confirm that for him... Also: I so don’t buy into that. A powerful dream can make you do crazy things to obtain it… LIKE USE THE POWER OF DARKNESS… TERRA! >:C
• Ven dodge rolls and… AQUA CARTWHEELS! I’m now living through Aqua!
• Also: Aqua opens chests by a tiny little poke. Hur!
• OH GOD EVIL STEP MOM AND EVIL STEP SISTERS!
• As they pass a weird symbol pops up and Aqua makes a confused face. The footman runs by and Aqua asks who the ladies were (also her voice is now growing on me DAMN YOU!) and he informs her that they are Lady Tremaine and her daughters. Aqua knows right off the bat that they are NO GOOD.
• HA! Charming thought Aqua was Cinderella! Maybe he was looking at her ass or something… blue butts are the only thing they have in common.
• So the footman is all like, blah blah glass slipper blah, I’m off to the nearest house… LADY TREMAINE’S HOUSE. And Aqua is like, I BEST BE PAYING HER A VISIT!

• So we meet our first batch of Unversed and they’re called: Flood and Scrapper. Which are like Shadows and Knights respectively? Floods even melt into the ground and Scrappers even have big claws on ‘em like Knights. The only reason they’re more frustrating than your run of the mill heartless is because Shadows ALWAYS go down in three or four hits while the Floods take longer. But that might because we’re playing as Aqua…
• Into the courtyard… more new Unversed, yada yada… like Kingdom Hearts 2 if you get far enough away from them they’ll disappear again rather than chase you down, which is nice. No idea if the “you clear an area it stays cleared” bit is true in this game.
• AUGH SO MANY NEW UNVERSED! Feels like they’re spamming you with so many new different types of enemies.
• First Moogle! But I’m poor so there is nothing to buy. He’s sitting in the courtyard of Lady Tremaine’s house, fyi.
• So Aqua walks up to the door and hears that the footman is here with the shoe and totally bypasses the craziness with the shoe and goes right to noticing there’s darkness about. Whelp… girl’s got priorities.
• Aqua is about to do a B&E with her keyblade when she’s stopped by… THE FARIY GODMOTHER! Who tells her it’s dangerous to fight the darkness with light…? Because bright sun creates dark shadows? And because the step mom/sisters are jealous of Cinderella? More wisely she reminds Aqua that you can’t have one without the other.
• WHUT DA! Aqua wants to know what she should do if she can’t help via keyblade and the fairy godmother tells her to go help… Jaq. SERIOUSLY? No Aqua don’t agree!
• The fairy godmother shrinks Aqua down to mouse size and flies her in through a window. Seriously… THIS HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH ANYTHING! Unless Master Xehanort is also mouse sized helping Jaq free Cinderella from her room.
• Pffft, Aqua whips out her keyblade to help which Jaq says is like Venven’s (NEW NICKNAME YA’LL!). And Aqua is all like TELL ME WHERE VEN IS! HE NEEDS A TIME OUT! And Jaq says he’s looking for a friend. So… Ven came and made a dress and then remembered he needed/wanted to find Terra. Le sigh.
• Jaq seems more… ghetto then French.
• And here’s some Unversed we’ve got to kill…
• Stupid escort mission is stupid. Also: SERIOUSLY WHAT IN GOD’S GREEN EARTH IS JAQ SAYING?! It does not match the subtitles at all!
• Aqua is way too wrapped up in the Cinderella drama and OH NO THE FOOTMAN IS LEAVING! Aqua regrows…unshrinks? on top of a ledge and wobbles in the most adorable way possible only to crash land off the top of the stairs into the living room. Bless. And is spotted by everybody present.
• To stall she requests to try on the glass slipper. The footman is a jerkwad though with a heck of a memory because he remembers that the Prince said that Aqua is not Cinderella but seems to think the Ugly Step Sisters could have been?
• Aqua counters with: I’M A GIRL!
• Lady Tremaine seems to finally wake up and realize there’s a complete stranger in her house.
• LOLS! Anastasia (the red head) thinks Aqua is a robber!
• The footman seems to have bought Aqua’s Lady Defense but just before Aqua has to remove her stinky boots CINDERELLA COMES! And Aqua’s all like, she can go first. Also, Aqua may have a crush on Cinderella. Lols. She also thanks her for teaching Terra that he needs to keep believing? Awkward wording there Aqua.
• LADY TREMAINE TRIPS THE FOOTMAN! JUST LIKE IN THE MOVIE! >:C
• Aqua fix it! Or… Cinderella can whip the second one out… WHICH FITS!
• Really Aqua? You’re super invested in this world for being here all of two seconds…
• Ah! Cinderella takes off with the footman but Lady Tremaine is all like “WE SHALL TEACH HER A LESSON SHE WILL NEVER UNLEARN!”
• Fade to black and… SOMEBODY SCREAMS! And the footman comes running! Aqua is informed that Cinderella was attacked by a monster in the forest! Oh noes!
• Oh God! It’s an evil pumpkin carriage! WITH PUMPKIN BOMBS!
• Also: AquaxCinderella = My new ship.
• So kill the evil pumpkin carriage and fade to white… to fade to CHARMING! Who is all like THAT GIRL I DANCED WITH! And the footman is all like I GET TO KEEP MY JOB! And Aqua is all like THIS IS ALL SO NICE!
• The fairy godmother pops up again and Aqua says that she’s been taught to destroy darkness but she doesn’t know how to do that without using light. And the fairy godmother says some BS that makes you want to punch her in the face.
• …Done? Already? WE’RE DONE! Also I didn’t think you got new keyblades in this game but you totally do!
• Finishing Castle of Dreams unlocks two new words and we’re off to…
