I'm not sure what I want to talk about in this opening section. But it does look like the game in winding down so the here's a bit of sum up. Terra, Aqua and Ven have only run into each other on two worlds other than their home planet. All three of them meet at Castle of Dreams and Radiant Garden, Aqua also ran into Ven at Enchanted Domain. Aqua keeps on picking up bits of information on Terra, some good and some bad. Terra seems to be walking a thin line between the darkness and the light. Ven hasn't been mentioned since Radiant Garden, even Aqua doesn't seem to be looking for him anymore. While both Terra and Aqua seem to treat Ven as the baby of the group I think Aqua is currently more concerned for Terra because his downfall seems so close at hand. With that let's move on.
- The next World we're off to is: Deep Space!
- So we’re on a space ship and Aqua spots some Unversed and, of course, goes after them.
- The following cutscene has Aqua picking up a star charm? Not one of the ones Aqua made but a star charm nonetheless. The charm seems to belong to… STITCH! Who yoinks the charm, growls at Aqua until he realizes that she has a keyblade then takes off again once Gantu busts up our party.
- Gantu asks where 626 went and Aqua doesn’t really get what’s going on but tells him that 626 went up into the ventilation system. Gantu is about to go before he realizes he doesn’t know who Aqua is. Aqua can’t come up with a good enough lie so Gantu assumes she’s a stowaway.
- Instead of taking us to a cell or something Gantu has Aqua stay close only problem being that they run into the Grand Councilwoman who’s pissed Gantu isn’t finding 626. Apparently the Unversed had something to do with 626 getting loose? Aqua then steps in and explains she’s not a stowaway but that she followed ‘monsters’ here and only she can beat them. So GC accepts Aqua’s help and ignores Gantu. Apparently Jumba has also escaped, hmm. The GC asks Aqua to also help capture Jumba and 626 if she can.
- I think I know Aqua well enough to predict she won’t go after 626 right away. She knows he’s not all bad but I think she’d be more willing to capture Jumba. Jumba has committed a crime where as 626 really hasn’t done anything bad yet. While Aqua might be labeled as the “goody-two-shoes” of the bunch I think her sense of right and wrong doesn’t mean that she blindly follows authority figures.
- So Aqua sets out to find 626 and Jumba and already my prediction is kinda falling into place. She recognizes the star charm (called a Wayfinder) and wonders if Terra and Ven are here too.
- So off we go! First we go back to where Gantu found us and go out the back hatch to kill the Unversed stopping the ship from leaving. The fight on… the back of the ship? Makes no sense. Aqua is in her armor and water… ski thing which she flips and uses like a bow (which was pretty neat) but the fight really doesn’t follow any logic and the controls are wonky. Oh well!
- Afterwards Aqua finds the makeshift Wayfinder charm floating about and yoinks it.
- Off to the dungeon to find more Unversed!
- Okay so the dungeon is that jail cell place where Jumba is being held in the movie. 626 is there and is attacked by Unversed and Aqua saves him with some smooth moves.
- Aqua tells 626 that she is supposed to “take him in” but 626 ignores her and is instead sniffing around looking for Terra. Aqua wants to talk to 626 (probably about Terra) but she get side tracked by the Unverse that pop up.
- 626 (I WANT TO CALL HIM STITCH SO BADLY) helps out in the fight and is actually useful which is more than our other party members can say.
- Afterward 626 goes back to his sniffing the ground ways. He’s still looking for Terra and Aqua seems to forget that she’s supposed to be catching 626 and is way more focused on how 626 knows Terra.
- Apparently between the two cutscenes 626 and Jumba have escaped from the jail place and are about to escape. The GC wants us to guard the launch pad… place.
- Aqua however is more concerned about how dangerous 626 really is, because he’s actually helped her and seems nice and adorable and stuff. The GC says he really is that dangerous (or that they must assume he can be) and Aqua agrees to go… but I don’t think she’s convinced.
- Before getting to the launch pad place there’s a room where you have to turn the gravity off and you get to jump around and float and stuff.
- At the launch pad Jumba and 626 are talking and it looks like Jumba is already making plans to pull 626 and rework him.
- Aqua is holding the makeshift Wayfinder and 626 launches himself across the room and grabs it.
- Hur, he calls it Terra.
- Apparently the real Terra showed 626 his Wayfinder and 626 made one of his own.
- 626 snuggles with his Wayfinder while Jumba complains, stating that the charm is the cause of 626’s sudden change of behavior.
- Gantu then comes to crash our party. Spoilsport. :C
- Aqua reminds Gantu they’re supposed to capture 626 alive but he doesn’t really care. Ticked off, Aqua decides to team up with 626 and fight Gantu.
- Gantu is pretty easy to beat. He’s got a few attacks that can do some major damage such as this big ‘ol CHARGE! He does that you can’t stop once he hits you.
- After the fight the GC comes down and gets PIIIIISSED at Gantu. She then thanks Aqua and tells Gantu to take 626 to the asteroid he’s been banished to. :C And that once he gets back he’s demoted.
- It looks like 626 will actually get banished until Aqua speaks up. The GC says she shorten his banishment if he behaves well so… yay? Aqua then tells 626 that she likes his Wayfinder. Aqua then says she’d like to be friends with 626 and that she’d like it if he became friends with Terra and Ven too.
626 is a cutie. Especially when he can’t say words. - D-LINK WITH 626, WOOT WOOT! Also, new keyblade!
- With Deep Space completed one more world is open… perhaps our last?
