Shit is going down like nobody's business today. Major fights and major revelations are made. Terra's growing up a bit, he's got some hard decisions to figure out. Plots are revealed, Terra finally opens his eyes and TRAGEDY LIKE NO OTHER (at least in Terra's story) happens.

• Well… we know it as the Keyblade Graveyard but the title on the world map calls it “The Badlands”. So… yeah whatever.
• So I’m guessing this is going to be pretty cutscene heavy too.
• Terra punts along on is scooter and hoovers by Master Xehanort, who apparently things it’s a good idea to stand on top of a pointy rock.
• Dramatics aside, Master Xehanort informs us that Ven has “stumbled upon the secrets of his origins.”
• Apparently Ventus is on his way home and… he’s really pissed.
• And Master Xehanort says Ven “may attempt to force the truth out of Eraqus.”
• I HATE YOU! I HATE YOU SO MUCH! Xehanort is the WORST type of person in the world. He plays right into people’s emotions to manipulate them.
• He begs Terra to go find Ven and see to his safety.
• Terra flies off and… is somebody chuckling?
• Quickly we’re off to the Land of Departure!
• Terra’s flying in when he spots Eraqus and Ven out in the courtyard, about to face off. Or… maybe not? Only Eraqus has his keyblade out while Ven is stumbling away from him.
• D: “But you must exist no more.” Eraqus says before he shoots CHAINS OF LIGHT! at Ven!
• Terra flies in and jumps off his scooter to protect Ven!
• GO TERRA GO!
• He blocks the chains and Eraqus has a “wait whut?” moment.
• He commands Terra to step aside, but of course Terra won’t. He orders him as his master but still Terra doesn’t move. Eraqus then asks why do all of his attempts to reach Terra fail. He says if Terra won’t move he’ll have to share Ven’s fate and cries one single tear.
• Asshole.
• Then he moves in on Terra who’s still shielding Ven, who’s collapsed to his knees. Ven flinches as their keyblades crash together and tells Terra to stop, that Master Eraqus is right. But Terra’s really not in any mood to listen to him.
• Eraqus summons a blast of light and knocks both Terra and Ven back. Looks like Ven has passed out and Terra picks him up. Eraqus does his best super saiyan impression and Terra responds with… darkness. Which rolls off of him.
• He says Eraqus might be his master but he won’t let him hurt his friend.
• Eraqus freaks out a bit, wondering if the darkness has taken over Terra.
• Lols, he throws Ven into a light portal and poofs him to safety.
• FIGHT! FIGHT! FIGHT! FIGHT!
• Okay… the info bar tells us to “quell Master Eraqus’ anger!” Like hell we will, I’m going to punch his stupid head INTO THE GROUND!
• This is by far the hardest fight yet. Master Eraqus has got years of experience on us however Terra’s got something working for him too: rage. No matter what set of combos you use you’ll go into Dark Impulse mode where basically you can land a high string of combos and finish off with an impossible to miss attack. Other than that stay AWAY from Eraqus, he’s hella fast. It’s best to wait for a moment and heal when you’ve got to. I mean… god I can’t even come up with good tips it’s just a frustratingly hard battle. As it should be.
• Post-fight both Eraqus and Terra are panting. Terra has a “OH GOD WHAT DID I JUST DO!” moment. He tries to explain to Master Eraqus that all he wanted was to keep Ven safe. Master Eraqus says that Terra was right, and that he’s failed him. He blames himself for the darkness inside Terra. And now he’s done something even more horrible, tried to kill two of his pupils. He says his own heart is darkness and Terra reaches out for him and has a puppy-dog face that would put Ven to shame.
• HOLY SHIT BALLS!
• Somebody’s stabbed him!
• In the back?
• With darkness?!
• And Master Eraqus poofs!
• And… disappears into light?
• Terra starts to cry. Making him what, the second character to ever cry? I think only Sora has ever cried before.
• OH GOD IT’S XEHANORT!
• He’s all like “Don’t feel bad Master Terra, he was trying to kill your friend.”
• But Terra’s clearly upset with Xehanort.
• Xehanort says he feels like Terra’s progress (with darkness?) is going well but he still falls short.
• He wants Terra to give his heart over to the darkness. Which… so wasn’t what he was talking about earlier. Before he was all like “you need a balance of light and darkness.” He’s slipped up, majorly. Please let Terra catch on!
• Oh he has!
• He says he’ll make Terra understand. He then tells Terra to go “to the place where all keyblade wielders leave their mark on fate the Keyblade Graveyard.”
• Funnily enough neither Sora or Riku have ever gone to the Keyblade Graveyard. Maybe they’ll pay it a visit in KH3?
• AND HE’S GOING TO KILL VEN AND AQUA?! So the last of Terra’s light will “die”?!?!
• He summons a… black hole? Thing? …Darkness?
• When in doubt assume Darkness. It… kinda looks like the big ‘ol ball of darkness that ate Destiny Island in KH1.
• The big ball of evil floats over the Land of Departure, blowing up wind and blocking out the ‘sun’.
• Xehanort tells Terra he won’t need a home anymore.
• Terra’s confused and pissed.
• Xehanort summons a dark portal and takes off.
• Slowly the castle starts to break apart and flies into the dark ball thing…
• The ground cracks and starts to go up too and Terra’s on his knees watching the destruction of the only home he’s ever known.

• Then he gets his game face on.
• Once again Terra pulls out his Wayfinder and swears to Ven and Aqua that he won’t let him hurt them.
• And off Terra goes!
• New keyblade! Looks shiny! Also looks a lot like Soul Eater… Hmmm.
• OH GOD WE’RE OFF TO THE FINAL BATTLE!
