We're back to the Keyblade Graveyard for the third time in Terra's story. Again we've come at Master Xehanort's beckoning only this time will be the last time. It's time to set things right, time to reunite with our friends, time to either succumb to the darkness, quell it forever or learn how to live in the balance. Was everything a lie or are there bits to truth to what we've learned during our journey with Terra?

• So here we are again friends, the end of the road.
• Terra observes the Keyblade Graveyard and summons his keyblade. And tells himself that whatever it is that he has to do it is because of friendship.
• Again we find ourselves in tornado valley. Joy.
• On the plus side I got through after running into only two of them!
• Terra’s standing alone in the graveyard and again Aqua is the first one to join him.
• Again she knows that the Master was “struck down”. Terra confirms it and says he helped Xehanort but the Master tried to hurt Ven and that was the only reason they fought. But it was a trick and Xehanort set it up so he could awaken his darkness. He says Aqua and the Master were right because he did go astray.
• Again Aqua says that because Terra is filled with hate and rage he’ll keep fight and he’ll keep playing into Xehanort’s plan. That doesn’t honor Eraqus’ memory.
• And here’s Ven!
• Again he tells his two friend that Xehanort wants him to fight Vanitas so that they can make the ‘x’-blade. Ven’s not sure what it is but it scares him. It must’ve scared Eraqus too because he tried to kill Ven over it.
• Terra promises that he and Aqua will protect Ven. But Ven says if he has to fight Vanitas then…
• “The three of us can never be torn apart, all right? I’ll always find a way.”
  Terra puts his hand on Ven’s shoulder and Aqua cups Ven’s cheek and he peels both of their hands away in what is probably my favorite bit of animation (that’s not a solely facial) so far.

• Ven wants them to kill him. Which shocks ‘em.
• The wind picks up and HERE’S XEHANORT! And Vanitas!
• Hiiiiiiiii Vanitas, I missed yoooooou~
• Again Xehanort goes off on his history lesson about a GREAT KEYLBADE WAR THAT RAGED! People died, yada yada, looking for a key. Blah blah, soon it will be his. Again he points to Ven.
• TRANSFORM! INTO THE SHAPE OF… ARMOR PEOPLE!
• Reanimation of the secret endings, blah blah.
• God I love the evil twiddle fingers.
• Aqua’s “Ven!” right before he gets frozen is such a good line read I want to bottle it up and keep it forever.
• KINGDOM HEEEEEEEEEEEARTS!
• And here’s Mickey!
• Now, I believe, is where Terra’s final bit will differ from the others.
• Remember Terra (the last we saw him) got blasted off the cliff before Master Xehanort froze and drop Ven, so I guess he’s on the other side of Aqua and Frozen!Ven.
• So here’s Terra, who appears to be on the bottom floor now. He picks himself up and whips his helmet off. He summons his scooter and blasts off back up to the top of the cliff.
• Oh hey, since I’ve never mentioned it before here’s my pet theory: Terra is the first Heartless. I don’t know if I’m correct or not (probably not) but we’ll soon find out.
• Terra gets up the cliff and who should be there but Master Xehanort and Vanitas. Terra lands and… goes back to his street duds?
• Stupid.
• Master Xehanort congratulates Terra on making it all the way here, like he knew he would, “over the unseen wall that divides darkness and light.”
• Terra really doesn't give two shits what Master Xehanort things about him anymore. All he wants to know is what he did to Ven.
• Xehanort says: “Why, I did him a favor and freed the darkness inside him. Alas, poor Ventus never had the fortitude for such strenuous trials.”
• Terra is PIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIISSED!
• And we’re fighting!
• Oh god, we’re fighting Vanitas and Xehanort at the same time!
• This fight makes you think both Vanitas and Xehanort are just fucking with you. Neither of them really attack and are more willing to run away but seeing as how Vanitas had the littlest health bar I went after him first. His health bar did NOT want to go down but after about a minute or two the battle suddenly ends and there’s a cutscene, of course.
• Terra brings his keyblade down on Xehanort’s and the two struggle. Or Terra struggles. Xahanort tells Vanitas to “go take what Ventus owes you. And take Aqua’s life.”
• Off Vanitas goes!
• Terra chases after him but Xehanort appears before him, blocking his way. Xehanort starts in on Terra, asking him if he sees “how powerless you are to save them? Savor their rage and despair. Let it empower you!”
• Terra is FED UP WITH THIS SHIT YA’LL! “Was my Master – no, my father, Eraqus not enough for you? Leave my friends alone!” Terra… that was a pretty melodramatic line but I’ll let it pass because he’s radiating darkness and I seriously wouldn’t want to mock him now.
• Xehanort is all like “That’s the way I like it, let your heart blacken with anger!”
• Terra… erupts with darkness!
• Holy crap ya’ll!
• Okay this battle was pretty easy. So I assume this can’t be the last time we face Xehanort. Basically he stays far away from you and poofs up to you to perform big combos. He can also summon up a storm of keyblades to knock you around. Hurl what you’ve got at him, heal when you can.
• So Xehanort is on his knee, panting. Terra walks up to him angry.
• What the hell?
• A bright light pops up behind Terra and Xehanort freaks out saying that the ‘x’-blade “has been forged!”
• So... Vanitas and Ven are now one. Don’t worry Terra, Aqua and Mickey have got this covered.
• And now it’s time for the final union?
• DUDE YOU’RE FUCKING INSANE!
• Xehanort points his keyblade at his chest and STABS HIS OWN HEART?!
• His keyblade and his… heart? Poof out of his chest.
• He says: “Out with the old and brittle vessel, and in with a younger, stronger new one!”
• He’s… going to possess Terra? Or Vanitas/Ventus?
• “I swore I would survive and be there to see what awaited beyond the Keyblade War! And now it is your darkness that shall be the ark that sustains me!”
• He throws his heart at Terra and it smacks into him and… Terra’s back in his armor?
• Darkness is now emitting for Terra and light from Xehanort. Xehanort disappears into a puff of light just as Master Eraqus did.
• WHAT IN GOD’S GREEN EARTH?!
• The armor falls off of Terra and… he’s sporting Xehanort /Ansem/Xemnas hair!
• OH GOD HE EVEN HAS HIS VOICE?!
• “This heart belongs again to darkness. All worlds being in darkness, and all so end. The heart is no different. Darkness sprouts within it – it grows, consumes it. Such is its nature. In the end, every heart returns to the darkness whence it came.”
• He has Terra’s face but… the yellow eyes of Master Xehanort (and Xehanort/Xemnas/Ansem) and Xehanort/Ansme/Xemnas hair. He also has Master Xehanort’s keyblade. He tries to walk away but… orange chains appear around the top of the cliff.
• Terra’s armor is holding his keyblade, the big question being: Is Terra in the armor?
• “Your body submits, your heart succumbs – so why does your mind resist?” Here the voice sounds more like Terra’s. I CAN’T TELL!
• Who knows if anybody is in the suit, whichever the case we’re fighting!
• The information bar says to “Defeat Xehanort and take back your body!”
• So… when I beat him (on my fourth try which… was super easy by then) I cackled like a mad person.
• So I had Once More and Block Renewal on so… fight was pretty easy with ‘em. Basically just block and counter and get the hell away when you need to. He’s a fast little bugger but he’s not always willing to attack so sometimes you have to make him come over and fight you
• So Terra/Xehanort is down on the floor and Armor!Terra sinks his keyblade into the ground and kneels
• Meanwhile I scream: IT’S MY BODY I WON IT, GIVE IT TO ME NOW!
• But the game doesn’t listen and a big burst of light starts to destroy the cliff we’re on. I’m going to assume that’s the ‘x’-blade going all crazy.
• Crap. It gets the body… and it’s coming towards Armor!Terra when sparkles start to fly and we see:
• A smiling Ven, and Aqua with the Wayfinders.
• Then Armor!Terra dissolves?
• There’s a lot of sparkles and the cliff top looks empty as a blue Kingdom Hearts shines down on it.
• It shows the keyblades stuck in the earth…
• Then back up to the top of the cliff where… Armor!Terra is still kneeing. It starts to play creepy Heartless music though so… eep.
• The music is equal parts creepy and triumphant.
• The clouds start to roll in and block Kingdom Hearts.
• Light shines down on Armor!Terra and I have to stop myself from making Jesus jokes…
• Actually it looks a lot like a Dive into the Heart scene…
• Armor!Terra is still kneeing and then the screen goes black.
• “Aqua, Ven... One day I will set this right.”
• OH FOR FUCKS SAKE!
• It’s over!
• So on a note for VA’s: Leonard Nimoy is Master Xehanort and it was the guy who does Ansem’s voice was doing the Terra/Xehanort voice.
• Credit characters: Maleficent, the fairy godmother, the evil Queen and her mirror, Braig, Captain Dark and Queen Minnie, Hades, Jumba, Captain Hook and Smee and the crocodile, RIKU!, Master Eraqus, and last but not least our new trio striking a pose!
• So after 2142 enemies defeated, almost 21 hours of play time and almost 12,000 words I’ve finished Terra’s story.
