I mean... guys this is the end. What a journey it has been. I don't even know what to say. My friend (Logan) and I are currently going over the game again but... what can I say? It was like 358/2 days where you know BAD THINGS ARE GOING TO HAPPEN AND THERE IS NOTHING YOU CAN DO TO STOP IT without the pang of familiar characters. There's some hope here, amidst all this sadness though.

Hidden truths
- So here’s creepy Xehanort doing his best creepy act. He’s explaining how he has control over Terra and… he’s even hinting that the ‘heart’ in Kingdom Hearts lore is an actual heart?! Really? I thought it was more of a metaphorical heart…
- He’s having a “Lolz, how you still here?” moment and Terra’s like “UH DUH IT’S MINE!” And Xehanort is like “But I’ll win! 8D” And Terra says he’ll “get shown the door, old man.” Urm? But Xehanort doesn’t really care and is like “Dude, you can’t even control your own darkness, how can you control mine?” BUT TERRA HAS A PLAN! Or… something.
- So confused and we’re a minute in…
- Somebody already has a place in Terra’s heart. Xehanort assumes it’s Eraqus. But that’s not it. Terra’s not afraid of the darkness because he knows one thing will never change. He’ll keep on fighting, no matter what the cost, for one thing.
- Umm… his friend?
- Anyhoo Xehanort is like “Whatever, I’ve got time to settle this ‘property dispute’. And I’ve got lots of other options.”

- He’s all stomping in his EVIL BOOTS when Braig catches up to him and calls him “Mr. Master” HUR HUR!
- Braig really can’t believe Xehanort has forgotten everything and he’s like “You’re not… Terra?” but Xehanort keeps making faces at him. Then in strolls Ansem with Ienzo and they’re holding hands and eating sea-salt ice cream. Dwaah. Then Ansem is like STARING INTENTLY at Braig and Xehanort walking the other way.
Two who were never meant to meet
- Umm… Ansem? Ansem the Wise in an Organization cloak?
- AQUA!
- They’re on the dark beach and the two start to talk. Ansem starts to tell Aqua how he ended up… which is that he can’t remember who he is or how he got there. Aqua tells him she’s been here for a while not being able to escape.
- Aqua tells him she wants to go back to her friends and Ansem says she reminds him of a boy he once knew… and he’s talking about… Sora? Aqua hasn’t aged in 11 years? AND HOW IS ANSEM ALIVE?!
- Aqua asks if the boy’s name was Terra or Ven… and it isn’t. SO IT IS SORA!?
- Ansem says it’s been a year since he met him (so KH3?!). And back then all he wanted was vengeance. And it caused a lot of unhappiness. And… there’s data inside Sora? That can set things right? By opening the right door… that could save the people whose lives he’s ruined (AXEL?! Don’t look at me that way), those who are waiting for their “birth by sleep.” And it could save Ansem and Aqua too.
- Aqua asks for the boy’s name… but it cuts off.
All the pieces lie where they fell
- NAMINÉ! God I forgot how much I love this girl. She draws a picture of Sora on his beach and says his name.
- ROXAS! God my heart literally constricted upon seen Roxas. He and Axel and Xion are eating sea-salt ice cream. They all stare at the sunset, eyes wide. And say “Sora.”
- OH I SEE WHAT’S HAPPENING HERE!
- In the Land of Departure (which has been fixed?) Ven is sleeping on a bench but… TERRA’S HERE! Ven wakes up and the pair of them look up at the stars and say “Sora.”
- Back on the dark beach Ansem and Aqua stare at each other and Aqua starts to cry. Aqua turns to look out at the dark ocean and says “Sora” too.
Where they wait for him…
- DESTINY ISLAND!
- Sora’s sitting on the paopu tree watching the ocean. He looks so serious!
- RIKU! Riku walks up to him and Sora’s holding the bottle from the end of KH2.
- He asks Sora if his mind is made up and Sora says he has.
- Kairi! She says Sora’s name and he starts to say something but she doesn’t let him finish. He explains that he has to go, because they need him, and because he is who he is because of them. Riku smiles and so does Kairi. She hands him her charm (her Wayfinder?) and…
