Layla, Santigo, and santigo's father Tanito were in an emergency waiting room in the hospital. Layla's father, King Lilon, had been attacked. It had happened so fast, noone saw who did it. This didnot make Layla any happier " How can they let someone almost kill daddy?! I want the person caught. Noone gets away with trying to kill the royal family!" She said using sign language.
Sanitgo was worried about Layla " Princess, Maybe you should get some rest. You look very tired." He said placing his hand on Layla's shoulder armor. She started to blush which made him smile.
She then looked up and pouted" Damnittohell!! He needs me, Santigo! He does!" She signaled with tewn her cheeks. She then started to sob softly.
Tanito giggled slightly " Your dad will live princess. He is King After all. Who would give that up." He asked sweetly. He placed his arms them. "So, I'll let you two get some rest." He then exited the room.
Sanitgo swallowed hard due to the fact that Layla was taking off some of armor." You dont mind if i talk to you in your mind, do you?" Layla asked kindly.
" WOW!! I didn't know you could do that. Thats so cool." Santigo said loudly. He was no longer comfortable with Layla resting her body against his body.
Layla was staring out of a window, just gazing at the night sky" I'm scared. Santigo I'm really scared. What will happen to me? Will i be attacked? Will I almost die like my dad?"
Santigo just frowned." I'm sorry Princess. I just don't know what to say. I want you to be safe. You shouldnt feel threatened. You and I were both born on Earth. That makes us both Earthlings."
Layla's face turned pink "Are you sure, Sanitgo? That means so mush to me. I'm an Earthling. I know no other planet. I love this planet. For it is my home." She said smiling and looking proud.
Santigo Laughed " You are truly a joy to be around Princess. I tell no lie. Your are a true joy." He said laughing. He then placed his hand around her shoulders. " Look Princess I would like to escort you until we find who tried to kill your father, ok?" He said smiling big.
Layla felt her face turn hot and red" I would like that a lot Santigo. I really would."
With that, they began to walk towards Santigo's ship. They were going to find out a horrible, horrible truth. This truth would change everything that they know and it will change their future.
