"Where are they?" Mello says impatintly to no one in particular.
"Don't worry Mello," Near said, "They are new, they probably got lost."
"Yeah Mello," Matt said, "Don't worry"
"UUUGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!" Mello said as the door opened.
All of them sat straighter as two girls with choclate brown hair worked in. They had shoulder length hair that was straight except for the curve at the ends. It went well with there faces and there deep, interminable, green eyes seemed to take in everything in seconds whether they were looking at it or not made them look even better. The girl that was reading a book with a black cover looked up first. She was wearing a pair of white capris with a dark blue tank top, a leather jacket, a charm bracelet, a pendant, two earings in each ear and white snadals. She looked at the three boys as if expecting something less and smiled startled.
"Hey," she says before they fell into an awkward silence. " My names Draxi, and yours are Near," pointing to Near who was doing a puzzle on the floor sitting in a position that should have looked awkward, "Mello," pointing to Mello who was eating a choclate bar sitting at the edge of Roger's desk, " and Matt." Who she pointed at him sitting against the wall playing his nintedo. "Right?"
She stood still watching all of them, waiting for a reply. Finally, Mello spoke up, " Yup. That's right. How' d you know?"
"OH," she smiled more, " I did my research." Mello smiled at her.
" Umm.. hey Lexi. LEXI!!!"
"What?!?!" Lexi says to Draxi, her eyes glued to her nintedo screen.
"Introduce yourself!" Draxi says loudly.
"Okay, okay! Wait one sec."
"..."
"YES, YES, YES!!I WON!"she says at the same time Matt says, " NO, NO, NO! I LOST!" Lexi finally stops looking at the screen and looks at the peole in the room for the first time. ALthough twins, they are differnet to the people who know them. Lexi was dressed in a short red dress with leather tights on and a black head band. She also had a charm bracelet, two earrings in each ear, a pendent and white snadals.
" She looks at everyone for a fraction of a second and says," Are you playing Pokemon?"
Matt says unsurely, "Yes?"
Lexi smiles, " Sorry for beating you!"
Matt and Draxi laugh.
"WOW!" Draxi says as she calms down, " Is he good?"
"Totally," Lexi says with a giggle, " He's very good."
After the awkward introductions everything settled. Lexi and Matt started talking about video games while Draxi solved a 10,000 piece with Near while discussing chocolates with Mello. No one noticed how Lexi got trapped in Matt's eyes. Or how Lexi heart beat faster and faster each time he said her name. No one noticed how Mello and Matt lost concentration when Draxi was talking or how she and Near spent a good five minutes doing nothing but looking at the puzzle and each other. No one noticed the fight brewing in the air and the possibility that something horrible has just started.
