There is three races:
Angel
Demon
Human
Each explained in detail in their info posts. Characters can be of any of these. No crazy other things, like vampires. No crosses either, eg no half human-half angels, half angel-half demon, or half demon-half human characters.
Basic Background:
God and the Devil have started a silent war on earth, because neither can enter the territory of the other. In order to avoid mass panic, it has to happen silently, with out the humans knowing. It would interfere with plans of both sides. In order to blend better, angels and demons MUST have mortal hearts. They both keep their powers, but they are significantly limited from what they use to be. With a body attached to their souls, they get tired if they use them to much.
Humans interact with the two unknowingly. However, if they discover the "big secret", they will be killed unless they stay silent. Love between a human and a supernatural has results explained in the human info (MUST READ EVEN IF YOU DON'T MAKE A HUMAN CHARACTER).
Yes, it is a big world, however, the epicenter of angels and demons (with out their knowledge, is a relatively unknown city in the US, not exactly a big name, but not small town USA either. Somewhere in New York (city to be named later). Here is where all the characters are staying. All schools and businesses are located here, all houses, condos, apartments, motels, etc. are here as well. Everyone should be able to speak English. Nationalities are diverse (which means not everyone can be Asian. Sorry.)
A VERY few angels and demons, and only one or two humans, can have THE Touch. Basically, it is the ability to touch a supernatural (angel or demon) and "sense" that they are not humans. Normally, if they can sense, it is only for EITHER angels or demons (basically, you can find an ally or find an enemy). Any fighting, however, MUST attempt to be done out of sight of humans. Neither God nor the Devil wants to panic the humans. If they started mass war, it would destroy too many plans. It can either happen in a secluded place, at an odd time, or a combination of the two. (No fighting in public parks at midday.)
Love IS a big part of this role play. YES angels and demons may UNKNOWINGLY fall in love, BUT IT WILL NOT HAPPEN ON PURPOSE. PERIOD. END OF STORY. If they find out, loyalty will in MOST cases cause battling and separation. Remember, they are extremely loyal to their patron. But a heart is a heart is a heart and every cheesy love movie you have ever seen has probably involved love over coming everything. ALSO NOTE: Both angels and demons were warned NOT to fall in love, so they probably will ATTEMPT not to, but accidents happen.
