Demons are the more evil of the supernaturals. Their denizen is the Devil, and they come from the hellfire realm.
Demons come in many shapes and sizes. Their ages are similar to angels, 10-25 years old are most common. Many have animal parts, or typical imp or devil parts like horns or a pointy tail. These are lost in the human realm, however the strongest demons may have simple transformation ability retained, only into one creature, though. Some look much like humans except for strange eyes or hair. Common demon eye colors include dark blue, purple, red, and black, as well as more human eye colors.
Back on the subject of power, demons have mainly dark powers. As mentioned above, the strongest can transform into ONE creature, be it a crazy monster or something simple like a cat. Most prefer the night, because their powers are stronger in the dark. The majority of demonic abilities cause pain or fear, not healing. For example, they might be able to form a shadow weapon for attacking, or they could conjure waking nightmares. Common elements for demons: fire, shadows, earth, poison, air (if you have questions on another element, feel free to ask.)
Although demons represent the evil side of the spectrum, it does not mean they are all roughians, murderers, and delinquents. Some are more quietly evil, presenting themselves differently than your typical ways, which helps to diversify personality. Also, just because they are evil DOES NOT MEAN they go around killing everything and stirring up trouble with humans. Remember, the Devil does not want humans in panic either.
As a demon with a human heart, they are susceptible to love and guilt. It doesn't mean they are going to completely turn around and start fighting for God, that just is not possible. However, they may regret some activities they once thought were a lot of fun.
When demons fall in love with humans: As in angels, if a demon and a human have mutual crushes on each other, the human begins to experience dangerous side effects. Enhanced physical abilities, evil longings, and small abilities like moving shadows or poisoning water subconsciously. After a kiss is exchanged is when many things go wrong. The human gains more control of their powers, often able to grow bat wings, have significantly increased physical abilities, and other abilities are more controlled (using which some times changes eye colors). These half-demons are often uncontrollable and power hungry, usually forgetting the one they fell in love and instead only focus on their growing powers. The only ones that can stop them are fallen angels, with holy water. There are a few that do not go insane, BUT IT IS RARE.
