Background: He joined the army not because he wanted to help, not because he was bored, but because he lost a bet. It was with his older brother, they usually don't go to this extreme but Zepar wanted some thing you could actually lose or win.
Personality: He's pretty relaxed and laid back, kind of passive and is fine with pretty much whatever. Of course he cares about the war, but being in the war isn't exactly something that excites him.
