I sat up in bed with a horrible head ache. For a second, I was confused. It was dark. And a bit cold.

Slowly I remembered. I was on Earth now. Looking around, I was in a small room, with a rather plain bed and white walls. There was a small window covered by blinds, letting in a very small amount of light. Standing up, I walked over and twisted the little plastic rod. The sudden brightness hurt my eyes. It was probably sometime in the late morning.

Some more exploration determined I was in an apartment, well stocked with clothes and books. The furniture was quite limited, but I liked it that way. God had a good idea of what I liked.

Pulling on a white t-shirt and blue jeans, I picked out one of the books and decided to enjoy the day outside.

Earth was so different from inside than it was looking in on it. Humans were so interesting! I guess I was one of them now, though.

As I left the apartment, I looked around before refering to a map I picked up on my way out. There was a library a few blocks away, a park in the other direction... It wasn't a big town, but there was quite a bit to do, at least.

I decided to go to the library. It would probably have computers, and I really wanted to check out the internet! Sticking the book and folded map under my arm and my hands in my pockets, I started off.

As I walked, I kept getting distracted by sights and sounds. Everything was so different! The buildings, the cars, the polluted air...

Suddenly, I felt something ram into my chest. It caught me off guard, and I stumled back a few steps to regain my balance. In front of me, a girl had taken the worst of the collision and had fallen down.

"I-I'm sorry!" I quickly apologized, offering her a hand up.

It was a normal day for me, sitting at the library and reading a book. This one was almost like the Twilight series, but different in that it at least had better character development. And it had a fallen angel instead of a vampire.

It was getting later, and I figured I'd better go home and get lunch. I still had salad in the fridge from yesterday. Closing the book and returning it to the shelf, I walked out the door and down the concrete stairs.

Down the street a ways, I saw a semi-familiar face. He lived not far from me, and was only a few years older than me. His name was... Seth, I think? Yeah. He was kind of strange. He always had this serious look on his face, once I saw him get really annoyed at nothing though. He was muttering about not being able to find someone. Today he was head down, looking quite determined to get some where. As he came up, I thought he didn't see me and was just stepping to the side, but he accidently stepped the same way.

"Ah! Sorry, Seth!" I said when he looked at me like I was some oddity. Maybe people didn't step aside for him much? Or maybe he didn't think I knew his name?

"Who the heck steps to the left?" he asked, his voice with a sharp edge. Oh. I guess that was a little strange.

"Oh... uh... Sorry?" I wasn't sure how to reply. Rolling his eyes, he brushed past me. And there was a strange shiver down my spine. I wasn't scared of him, since he never seemed to be a bad guy. It was just... strange. Probably just a coincindent.

Anyway, I had a lunch to eat. At home I pulled out the salad and ate it quickly, before my brother or his wife could drag me into helping with something.

"Anna? Are you home?" I heard my brother call when I was half way out the door.

"Not anymore!" I yelled back quickly, closing the door and walking quickly for the park. It was a nice day, and I needed some excercise. The door opened while I was half way down the walk from the door to the main sidewalk.

"Are you going for a walk again?" my brother called. Sheepishly, I turned back.

"Y-yeah."

"Try not to trip again. I don't want to deal with another one of your klutz problems again."

"I'll try not to!" I took off then, not waiting for any reply. He usually told me that, then changed his mind and told me to help with the dishes or something.

I didn't slow my pace until I was out of sight of the house.

╔Seth╗

Stupid girl. She lived two houses away, and everyone around knew her to be a total klutz. I had a goal today, though. Satan had sent secret word that there was a new batch coming today.

Today would finally be the day I found another super natural. If they were anything like me on their first day, they were probably staring at everything. I had to be careful, though. Make sure I didn't look suspicious.

At this point, angel or demon didn't matter. Anyone but one of these stupid humans. They were so powerless. I could easily destroy them, but not yet. Not yet.
