Alex-Meeting People

Schools out. I didn't think it was all that great. First, I didn't know anyone so I was all alone in my own little corner. Then theres the teachers teaching me stuff I already know. Whenever one would think I wasn't paying attention, they would call on me and then stutter when I had the answer. Most of the time I would pick a seat in the back corner by a window. Around 4th period or so, I was annoying to find out someone had beat me to my seat. It was a girl with red streaks.
I frowned and took the seat in front of her. I listened while the boy across from her started trying to converse with her. "Whats your name?" He asked politely.
"Lieselotti Glace." She said it in a really snotty tone. I almost laughed at the offense the boy took.
"Nothing, don't get full of yourself. You're nothing special." Ouch. Friendly boy turned not so nice. I glanced back to where the girl had a puzzled look on her face. She seemed confused. Could she be a...I shouldn't jump to conclusions. But now I was curious with her. I turned around to face her in my seat.
"Where ya from, Lieselotte Glace." I imitated her arrogant voice and smiled nicely in a way that meant I didn't want a fight.
"None of your buissness, ever heard of it?" She automatically said then bit her tongue. "I mean, a while a way from here. Everythings and everyones diffrent..." She had a sharp tongue but was obviously trying hard to make friends.
"Make any friends yet?" I asked her.
"Um...well I met someone who I didn't bite their heads off...sorta." I frowned again.
"Is that a yes or a no?"
"In between. She showed me where Mrs. Haley was." She said. I snorted. I had met her earlier. She made you want to stay your distance. When I had walked to her desk she sent me a glare that made me shrink back. I immidiately wondered what I had done. While I was remembering, the bell rang and the school day went by with unimportant events.

When school was out, I was wondering what to do. I passed by a basketball flyer. I might go to that. There was those two girls again. The yonger one and the high schooler. They were headed toward the poster.
"SEE I TOLD YOU IT WAS THIS SATURDAY!!!" The younger one jumped up and down. The older one sighed.
"I know, Lily, I was just kidding. If I had known you would go to such lengths to prove your point I wouldn't have said anything at all." The younger one, Lily, pouted her lip.
"You should make that clearer next time, Sadie!" Sadie rolled her eyes and laughed. Her blue eyes sparkled. They were a really bright blue in the sunlight. She caught me staring and frowned. Ouch. Was I that ugly or something? She steered Lily right out of there and they were gone in seconds.

I was distracted when something fluttered against my chest. A girl about 19 ran up to me. "Sorry thats my map." She grabbed it and ran off. I had caught a glimspe of it and it looked like it was pretty outdated. I had spent enough time looking down to know that the shape of this town did not look like that.
"Hey that maps outdated!" I ran back up to her. She turned around.
"Wha?"
"The map. Its old. You might as well throw it away. It will just make you lost."
"Oh..." She seemed to think for a second.
"Where are you headed?" I asked her.
"The school. The only school in town. Im going to be late for my classes." She seemed really distressed. I laughed out loud. She frowned at me.
"Im sorry but school for today is out. Its already over. How long have you been out here?"
"A long time." She admitted.
"How bout this, you find your way here somehow tomorrow, I'll show you where the school is." We were by a building near a park. If the basketball flyer was still taped up tomorrow, I would have no problem finding my way back.

While she was still thinking about my offer, I laughed, waved and ran off.
