What is Movie Sign?
Every Sunday night, we nestle down in Chat and watch an episode of the cult TV show Mystery Science Theater 3000 (MST3K for short) while spamming up the Chat box. Don't worry - we use episodes available on streaming sites so that we can all watch simultaneously.
What's MST3K?
A comedy show that ran from 1988-1999, it's like watching a movie with running commentary. Joel Robinson or Mike Nelson, along with 'bots Tom Servo and Crow, are forced to watch terrible films as part of a mad scientist's bid for world domination. To keep their (and our) sanity, they talk back to the movies and riff on them. A more detailed explanation can be found up at the SoL.

How exactly does one go about explaining this movie? Well, due to copyright issues, the title was later changed to She Was a Hippie Vampire, does that help? There's women in swimsuits and lots and lots of talky scenes, and the female crew is supposedly fighting a mad scientist who wants to do something or another.
But there's always the short, and this is a dark gem of a moral story called Cheating. Young Johnny learns of the dark world that comes about when he cheats on an algebra test. Can he ever find redemption, or is his soul doomed forever?
Host Segment Highlights
It's time for blackjack baby! But apparently, Crow doesn't get it, and he really doesn't understand the point of the short when Mike assigns the crew to write essays about cheating. The gold 'bot finds himself caught in a struggle between procrastination and responsibility as he must win back the crew and prove he is, indeed, a good robot. Okay, I'm dramatizing this to the nth degree, but it should be entertaining, right?
