What is Movie Sign?
Every Sunday night, we nestle down in Chat and watch an episode of the cult TV show Mystery Science Theater 3000 (MST3K for short) while spamming up the Chat box. Don't worry - we use episodes available on streaming sites so that we can all watch simultaneously.
What's MST3K?
A comedy show that ran from 1988-1999, it's like watching a movie with running commentary. Joel Robinson or Mike Nelson, along with 'bots Tom Servo and Crow, are forced to watch terrible films as part of a mad scientist's bid for world domination. To keep their (and our) sanity, they talk back to the movies and riff on them. A more detailed explanation can be found up at the SoL.

We're adventuring in the world of old with Quest of the Delta Knights. Apparently, there's a secret organization over in Europe known as the Delta Knights. They quest to find a secret storehouse of Archimedes because he's apparently the best of the old time philosophers. You've got your classic fantasy characters and storyline, including a princess and some evil warriors and etc. Everything you've seen before, but now in lampooned form!
Host Segment Highlights
Pearl decides to find out what's wrong her experiment and trades places with Mike. The 'bots become very attached to her, but enough's enough and goes back to being the controller. Servo gets over his grief by forming a quartet and singing the enchanting "Air on a Delta Knight" before receiving some hate when Leonardo daVinci shows up. And what better way to end it all by having a pancake breakfast, hosted by the modern-day Delta Knights?
Come join us! We don't bite, promise. Movie starts at 8PM EST/5PM PST, room opens at the :30 beforehand.

About the Anime Club
The Anime Club is a weekly room in theOtaku's community chat where we meet to have fun laughing, crying, heckling, and spazzing together while watching a few episodes of anime. Rather than watching mainstream shows, however, we pick out good, yet lesser-known anime as an opportunity for people to enjoy new shows. Streaming links are usually provided for those without a copy of the anime.

FullMetal Alchemist: Brotherhood retells the story of the original FMA series, staying closer to the original manga storyline this time around. Despite this, it still follows the same basic plot: Edward and Alphonse Elric try to revive their dead mother through alchemy, and pay dearly for it- Edward loses his right arm and left leg, and Alphonse loses his entire body. Edward manages to attach Alphonse's soul to a suit of armor, and then has his limbs replaced with automail limbs. They then set out on a journey for the fabled Philosopher's Stone to return their bodies back to their original state...but they aren't the only ones searching for it....
Episodes:10-Separate Ways and 11- The Miracle of Rush Valley- That's right, it's a double feature this week. Why? Because episode 10 is a very important episode, and several people weren't in chat last week. Therefore, for those who missed it(though I'm sure they probably already watched it) we'll be watching last weeks episode as well as the new one.
Episode 11- Ed, Al, and Winry finally make it to Rush Valley, home of automail mechanics. Needless to say, Edward's presence is very much appreciated there. But as usual, not everything goes well...
