Hey watercoolers!
This is my first time writing something over here so for my first time, I thought I should give you something funny and you will be doing yourselves, sorta, hehe.
Its the same thing I have on my place but I thought I should also share here, so sorry for whoever read it and see this once again, here goes:
Open a google search page, write down "Find Chuck Norris" and hit the "I'm feeling lucky" button...... aaaand see what happens. ;)
Because Chuck Norris jokes never get old, right? At least not to me.
Happy Easter Everyone!
Pierce the Fandom with Our Chat...?
Originally proposed by Kei a while back and respectfully shanghai-ed by Nehs and Sangome, the idea is basically to turn on the Sci-Fi Channel once a week and spam it up in Chat while watching the English dub of Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann. We also try to get streams and whatnot for those not within the channel's range.
What is Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann?
A twenty-seven episode anime, TTGL is Gainax's way of taking giant-fighting-robot anime and stuffing it with so much awesome, one can barely take it. The English dub originally aired last year, but due to immense popularity has earned a rerun stint in the former Gundam 00 timeslot. Fan-spazzing on theOtaku.com can be found over at Team Dai Gurren.
Episodes
Simon's still reeling from the infamous events of last week, but he soon makes a discovery that could turn the luck of the Dai-Gurren Brigade into many crazy directions.
So, feel like joining in? The chat room will open at 10.30 EST. The password is girlinabox.
What is Movie Sign?
Every week, we nestle down in Chat and watch an episode of the cult TV show Mystery Science Theater 3000 (MST3K for short) while spamming up the Chat box. We use episodes available on Google Video so that we can all watch simultaneously.
What's MST3K?
It's a comedy show about a man and his robots, stranded in space and forced to watch some of the worst movies ever made as part of a mad scientist's bid for world domination. To keep their (and our) sanity, Joel Robinson or Mike Nelson, along with 'bots Tom Servo and Crow, talk back to the films and riff on them. You can read up on the show over at the SoL.
Next Episode
In order to live, we must LEAVE THE BRONX in our next post-apocalyptic romp, Escape 2000. Also known as "Escape from the Bronx" and "Fuga dal Bronx". A vicious corporation tries to kill and starve the last remaining habitants of the Bronx in order to build their own high-rise developments. Standing in their way is Trash, a long-haired, hot-tempered warrior and some gangs determined not to lose their turf. Expect fights in the rubble and the sewers - you know, where gang fights are always held.
Host Segment Highlights
Crow holds a charity auction before torching an ant and sending the SoL up in flames. More fire is had when Mike helps Crow try bio-feedback, but when all is clear, it's men's night on the satellite. Later, Dr. F tries to boost ratings with a terrifyingly adorable (?) child, but we all know what'll do that: robots and helicopters.
You know the date, so why not give it a go? Join us on Sunday and see what all the fuss is about! Movie starts at 8PM EST, room opens at 7:30.

About the Anime Club
The Anime Club is a weekly room in theOtaku's community chat where we meet to have fun laughing, crying, heckling, and spazzing together while watching a few episodes of anime. Rather than watching mainstream shows, however, we pick out good, yet lesser-known anime as an opportunity for people to enjoy new shows. Streaming links are usually provided for those without a copy of the anime.
Current Anime
Ichigo Mashimaro (aka Strawberry Marshmallow) is a 12 episode comedy/slice of life about sixth-grader Itou Chika (Chiba Saeko), her three friends Matsuoka Miu (Orikasa Fumiko), Sakuragi Matsuri (Kawasumi Ayako) and Ana Coppola (Noto Mamiko), and her big sister Itou Nobue (Nabatame Hitomi). It follows the day-to-day lives of the girls as they play, fight, argue, and work together, often with cute and hilarious results. There's no real story to speak of but the girls' overflowing adorableness will keep you smiling and the show's mix of conversational and slapstick humor will keep you laughing the whole way through.

Kanon is a 24 episode comedy/drama about Aizawa Yuuichi (Sugita Tomokazu), a boy in high school who, due to family circumstances, goes to live with his aunt, Minase Akiko, and cousin, Minase Nayuki (Kouda Mariko). It's been seven years since he visited and his memories of the city have since faded, but upon meeting Tsukimiya Ayu (Horie Yui) and other girls from his past, they slowly begin to return. The lighthearted comedy while Yuuichi teases the girls will make you laugh and the heartbreaking drama of traumatic events from both past and present will make you cry as the story unfolds.
