Olive stirring? Crack pairings? Packers won the Super Bowl?! It must be Movie Sign!
What's Movie Sign?
Every week, we nestle down in Chat and watch an episode of Mystery Science Theater 3000 (MST3K for short) while spamming up the Chat box. We use episodes available on YouTube so that we can all watch simultaneously.
What's MST3K?
It's a comedy show about a man and his robots, stranded in space and forced to watch some of the worst movies ever made as part of a mad scientist's bid on world domination. To keep their (and our) sanity, Joel Robinson or Mike Nelson, along with 'bots Tom Servo and Crow, talk back to the films and riff on them.
Next Episode
It's a clash of the eras in Episode 506 - Eegah!, in which young Roxy Miller encounters a caveman one night after a party. Dad goes missing when he ventures into the desert to snap up photos, and it's up to Roxy and her creepy-faced boyfriend Tom Nelson to rescue him.
Host Segment Highlights
Joel and the 'bots contemplate subtle forms of hell; the 'bots attempt to alter Joel's face to look like Arch Hall Jr.; discussing why '60s sitcoms are run by single dads.

Strike 1: The article's title is an incomplete thought, as Shinmaru pointed out. Judging by the rest of the article, the author is incapable of thinking in complete ones.
Strike 2: Cite sources. I have no reason to believe you.
Strike 3: Why would the Japanese stop making good shows even assuming that what the author alleges about American fans is true (which it isn't, and saying otherwise makes me want to injure puppies.) That make no sense, since the Japanese market is still forced to wait for TV broadcasts, thereby creating viewer ratings and determining what the majority of viewers (admittedly non-American ones) actually want. Logic fail. Get over yourself.
So those are the basic three strikes required to complete this sad, sad baseball metaphor. Anyone else spot any?
