What is Movie Sign?
Each week, we watch an episode of Mystery Science Theater 3000 while having a fun, spammy chat about it. We use episodes available on You Tube so everyone can watch them simultaneously.
What is MST3K?
It's a comedy show about a man and his robots being forced to watch bad movies as part of a mad scientist's experiment. The man, Joel Robinson or Mike Nelson, and the robots Tom Servo and Crow, watch real B-movies and riff on them, that is make jokes and talk back to the films.
Next Episode
We'll be watching a classic from the Mike Nelson era, Episode 606 - The Creeping Terror. The residents of quiet Angel County find themselves under attack from a large, sluglike alien with a voracious appetite. Unfortunately, said residents are too stupid to run away before they're gobbled up. Another defining feature of this film is it's almost total lack of dialogue, instead replaced by a narrator.

What's the Anime Club?
The Anime Club is a weekly chat room in theOtaku's community chat where we meet to have fun laughing, crying, heckling, and spazzing together while watching a few episodes of anime. The anime will most likely be available on streaming sites since we're mainly going to stick to unlicensed shows. I hope the Anime Club will be a good opportunity for people to find new series and genres that they enjoy, and for series to gather support for if/when they're licensed.
What are you watching?
We're currently watching Tales of Symphonia, a four episode fantasy/adventure OAV. It's based on the video game and follows the same story of Colette's journey to save the world of Sylvarant from ruin.
When are the next episodes?
We will be watching Tales of Symphonia episodes 1 - 2 on Saturday, September 27, at 10:00 PM Eastern Time (7:00 PM Pacific). The chat room will open about a half hour early, around 9:30 PM Eastern, and both episodes together will last about an hour. I hope to see you there!
