What's the Anime Club?
The Anime Club is a weekly chat room in theOtaku's community chat where we meet to have fun laughing, crying, heckling, and spazzing together while watching a few episodes of anime. The anime will most likely be available on streaming sites since we're mainly going to stick to unlicensed shows. I hope the Anime Club will be a good opportunity for people to find new series and genres that they enjoy, and for series to gather support for if/when they're licensed.
What are you watching?
We're currently watching Minami-ke, a thirteen-episode comedy/slice of life series. It features weird dialogue- and slapstick-based humor that fans of shows such as Azumanga Daioh, Lucky Star, or Ouran High School Host Club should enjoy.
When are the next episodes?
We will be watching Minami-ke episodes 7 - 9 on Saturday, September 13, at 10:00 PM Eastern Time (7:00 PM Pacific). The chat room will open about a half hour early, around 9:30 PM Eastern. Given three episode at twenty-four minutes each, they'll last about an hour and fifteen minutes. I hope to see you there!

What is Movie Sign?
Each week, we watch an episode of Mystery Science Theater 3000 while having a fun, spammy chat about it. We use episodes available on You Tube so everyone can watch simultaneously.
What is MST3K?
It's a comedy show about a man and his robots being forced to watch bad movies as part of a mad scientist's experiment. The man, Joel Robinson or Mike Nelson, and the robots Tom Servo and Crow, watch real B-movies and riff on them, that is make jokes and talk back to the films.

Move over Superman, it's time for Puma Man! In Episode 903 - Puma Man, a villain plots to control the minds of world leaders with a mystical Aztec mask. Meanwhile, an average man discovers his ancient heritage as a powerful superhero. Well, powerful in that he flies by flailing his arms and legs everywhere while dangling in front of rear-projected city footage...
